I'll get this expansion when they run one of those sales... Or maybe they'll send me a coupon for my birthday again this year and I can use that.

We either run the DLC and have an empty server (as with China Rising), or we don't run the DLC and have games going. Those are our only choices. Nobodys stuck on anything. It's too bad that EA didn't stick with just disconnecting people when a map thay didn't have came up. Not much we can do about it.

So, since we have two servers, we find a way to have our cake and eat it too.

Still looking for someone who doesn't have China Rising to actually test this with me. Last I checked as long as you don't have a DLC map in the rotation it doesn't mark the server as being a DLC server. The question is, if the server is full and you add a dlc map to the rotation, does it kick the non-DLC people right away or after the map changes?

I do not have any DLC, and can test with you.

I could be wrong but I don't think you can change the maplist without restarting the server.

I'll be on TPG TS when its up again ready whenever you are.

Can't get on TS, but I am on steam and origin, and can hop on whatever server you want.

sent an Origin request. May have to wait a few though as all servers are getting an update.

CivilWars, please share the experience you just had, would you say it could work for the TPG servers?

Joined with a base map on, then gehn swapped to a DLC map, and the server kicked me. He then swapped back to a base map, and I was able to rejoin. Yes, it could work, but I would be interested to see how many were kicked if we had a full server, and would it fill back up?
