Thanks War for the detailed explanation and that goes right along with my observation of how the server is usually run. In this case, as my post says, it was 8 people (4 each side) and I do believe there was an admin on. The map changed directly from Metro to a large outdoor snow map which is why I questioned it. "we will typically keep the rotation as Metro, Locker, (pearl or gardens) in order to get the player count up".

I do spend a lot of down time helping to prime the server so when it finally gets going then killed for switching to a map that does not work well with low numbers, just kinda of lets the wind out of the sails.
