Thread: Riot Shields in Dragons Teeth DLC

as explained by Xfactor here riot shields will be added with the dragons teeth DLC. Xfactor has some good points of why they could come in handy but to me its just another COD gimmick but that's just my opinion though.

Might make Metro and Locker pushes a little easier in some points, but with the amount of frags flying, I don't think a shield will make a huge difference

It's probably going to be similar to the MAV: it's fun to use, it marginally helps your team, but ultimately it just takes you, the player, out of the actual fight, when your team would find you more useful as another gun, rather than a mobile bullet soak that can be flanked or sniped in the pinky toe.

riot shields? what a stupid idea like the gunship wasnt CoD enough

As for locker and metro? Both should see the waste bin of oblivion, imho. Stop fretting about any "shield" and get rid of those awful maps! ... talk about creating your own headaches ...
