I'm going to respond to this because you used the word "anal". That "anal" is what lead to one of the most popular, team-oriented games at TPG. But we were all brought to this community for different aspects and I have to respect that. The problem lies within injecting our TPG way into games and I have come to the conclusion that it just doesn't work with these types of games. They're (BF3, BF4, Hardline) better suited for small groups of friends playing together instead of a whole community playing with the same mind-set. You can't be "anal" with Battlefield because there are just too many possibilities/roles for players to take, i.e. it's not supposed to be organized...or maybe the majority of people don't want to play that way.
Game looks cool no doubt. Though from watching a lot of videos and more specifically FrankieonPCs most recent video, I'm going to hold off on this game. I'm just tired of games that are in constant development/change. I don't believe that's how games should be made, but it seems a lot are going that direction nowadays. (Alphas, betas, pre-orders, etc)

Re: Battlefield Hardline Beta
BF3, BF4 are intended/supposed to be team work oriented games. DICE screwed the Battlefield community. TPG isn't forcing/injecting the TPG way into anything. Given what you wrote I am left wondering if you aren't confused about what TPG is.

"Can't be organized in a Battlefield game"
I think I identified the problem. Lots of options and delinearization of roles doesn't equate to a lack of possible organization. It doesn't stop Eve from having it. It didn't stop 2142 from having it (where a lot of changes to possible kits were made). CS whether 1.6, Source, or GO don't have clearly defined roles yet still have lots organization (what would happen if you didn't follow the call on a map again? ). Organization and teamplay in game are certainly aided by things such as a command structure defined in game. It's not necessary though.enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.
