Re: BF 4 BF 2 and the land of Candy crush Saga
Limited? Where the hell were you buying games at? Its harder now to find a game then it was then. I dont even think we agree on what killed bf2. It was 7 years of the same game and needed to be updated. If they had updated the graphic odds are people would still be playing it now because its still better then whats out.
Every game does a quick switch. Complaining about it on one game and never saying anything about the others is well just stupid. Obviously is real life it takes longer but that never plays out well in a video game. So now the hacks are in your mind part of the game? I chose sprint because it actually is a feature of the game.
For the record i would actually approve if they made it a no respawn game. Then we would see real tactics being used and i would still be knifing fuckers.Last edited by deathgodusmc; 08-17-14 at 10:21 AM.

Get your ass in the game and you will see the old guard are bringing tactics back.

Re: BF 4 BF 2 and the land of Candy crush Saga
Yeah... anyone that hasn't been in game on our server in the last few months hasn't seen it shift... it's becoming more and more like the old days.
And who the fuck wants realism in a game? I don't want realism. I want a vague semblance of realism. Realism sucks. BF2 was as far from realism as BF4 was. Perhaps more-so. To the point where we had to ban specific actions like bunny hopping and dophin diving... Aircraft that can reload by flying over an airfield... Ridiculously overpowered aircraft where a single good pilot could dominate and win a round for his team.
We're playing video games for chrissake. Who gives a shit if you run longer than someone could in real life? Should I also have to climb into a tank and take the time it takes to get it ready for battle? Should I also have to have someone in there loading the rounds with me? How about making flying a chopper more realistic and have to deal with all of the complexities of real flight? I've PLAYED a helicopter simulator. With all the controls needed and the checklist required just to take OFF it's nearly fifteen minutes... I don't want that shit in my video games. I want to sit down, jump into action and play a game. I want to have FUN.
And ultimately... BF4 is fun. With good friends and acquaintances it's even more so.
If you want to continue wandering the forums like a TPG ghost, moaning about the past and haunting the present then fine... be that way. If you want to have fun with friends new and old, get off your ass, buy premium and get in game.

Re: BF 4 BF 2 and the land of Candy crush Saga
BF2 = Tactical shooter. BF4 = Arcade shooter.
To me the difference about both games is the winning/losing.
In BF2 when the team wins It is a feeling of triumph and victory.
And when the team loses in BF2 there is that feeling of "I want payback for that lost bitches."
Not so with BF4. Don't get me wrong it is better than BF3 which was shit. But it ain't a Battlefield game. Remember DICE took a step backwards for team play and forward on game sales.

Re: BF 4 BF 2 and the land of Candy crush Saga
The whole point is the fucking game was like a hundred bucks. Maybe 60 or 70 can't remember but either way why the hell should anyone have to buy the upgrade?
Now as for who the fuck cares if someone can run longer well i guess i made it clear earlier that i fucking care. Im glad you played simulators for helos but so have i. In fact there are several sitting not 8 ft from me and not one takes 15 minutes to take off. I realize your trying to make a point but your point doesn't invalidate mine. I like realism but that really isn't what i said about choppers and it goes against what i said about weapons. In video games having that quick motion makes the game more viable but i dont care if its someones first log on the damn thing should have weapon systems.
Buying a release update right after the game was release is whats fucking ridiculous. So yeah i'll moan as much as want because after all im not the one that decided to go down this road of this versus that. I did however respond to a post that was completely inaccurate. Before that all i did was let millwall know there is no raping in bf4 like there was in bf2.

Re: BF 4 BF 2 and the land of Candy crush Saga
Too bad DICE has not added a feature for the upcoming "Classic" settings to remove unlimited sprint. BF4 would play differently as some maps the flags are spaced a good distance from each other and players must use vehicles to get there. Operation Firestorm they should have added 2 more flags in the desert away from D and E flags. Those straight line flags maps gotta go. It's stupid and bottle necked.
DG the premium content is good. Lots of maps and the best feature is playing with friends and communicating. If BF4 had no Voip like BF3 I would not have bought the game.
The commander feature is lame! IMO
Too many guns and knives. The only time I had fun using them is just to unlock the dog tags.
Anyways BF4 is the only game out that we have to play.
