But the Fibonacci sequence digits are encoded in 2's compliment binary, and it's night-time, and the blinking light is actually infrared, so you need a buddy with an IR scope to help...

Re: Rumors of BF5 being set in WWI
The thing you dread is the path to your Valhalla.
The words are your own: WW1, WW2, 'Nam, Falklands...
You don't want Battlefield 5.
Battlefield 5 is the game where some arbitrary era of combat is played out over a variety of inferior maps.
One era. Multiple Maps.
Fuck that.
You want...
Battlefield: Kubra
Every era contested on The One True Map. Greatest Dam Battlefield Evar.
WW1 Kubra. WW2 Kubra. Vietnam Kubra. Falklands Kubra (Harriers!)
Desert Storm Kubra (ie: classic mode)
Korea Kubra (MiG-15s and F-86s)
Soviet–Afghan Kubra (Commies get a MI-24, Mujahideen get Stingers!)
Crimea Kubra (no FAVs or Hummers - Horses! Get your Dragoon on.)
Boooring.
You want 'realistic destruction of buildings' ? Give Frostbite a real job: make the dam destructible. Some maps start out with the dam finished and the reservoir formed. Blow it up - Gusher. Everyone below the dam gets a nice respawn. The map will play very differently afterwards.
Kubra Reservoir maps can play two modes: summer and winter. Winter maps, the lake is frozen. Vehicles risk breaking through the ice.
Still need DLC? Lego Star Wars Kubra.
Blasters, light sabres, X-Wing vs TIE Fighter.
Winter mode? Hoth-style.

Re: Rumors of BF5 being set in WWI
Hi all,
Watched a YouTube video of the so called latest leaks for BF5. I take all this with a pinch of salt.. but......gets the juices flowing.
Eastern front is a name being flaunted. Takes on this are....1944 another hash on a WW 2 offering....WW 1 is still out there.....And European theater NATO allies against the Russians (modern/future). What ever this is going to be I hope the map design gets better. The circular flag arrangement bores me. As said before I would also like to see the return of asset destruction/protection.
Kubra has got a mention here by some. Have to say that was a very well designed map and a favorite of many.
I would also like to see Hippies with mangy dogs.

Re: Rumors of BF5 being set in WWI
I just want a game with substance.
The shallow or meh feeling on winning a round is how I feel in BF4. There is no feeling of accomplishment. It is a shallow feeling of victory.
You all know what I'm talking about. In BF2 when the game is that good that even when losing you still felt that you tried your best and the better team won or the fucktards on your team lost the round for everyone.
2 rounds on the same map opposite side like BF2. If not then they need to add 10 more maps.
Baserape.
BF5 just like BF4 = COD
I'll be playing Squad.

Re: Rumors of BF5 being set in WWI
Throwing symmetry for the sake of balance out the window would on its own enhance the game so much... Bringing back attack-able uncaps/destroyable commander assets wouldn't hurt either. Basically, anything but the flat, symmetrical borefest that are modern battlefield maps (firestorm, golmud, rogue transmission...). It's is so sad to see that the best vehicle map in BF4 isn't an original concept, but one brought back from an 11 years old game.
