SO! I just got done playing quite a few rounds and I had a blast. Coordinating with your teammates in the vehicles is really fun, the gunplay is demanding and requires more skillful shots than in previous games. Everything feels like it has real weight except perhaps the armed cars which are kinda floaty. Flying in planes is also going to test your skills as it is pretty tricky to get those planes to preform. They feel sluggish but i only flew twice and not for very long. However! Even though I had fun and it was something different I feel like it wasn't different enough and the feeling of what WW1 really was wasnt there for me. I still feel like we are playing a larger version of domination from CoD and the pacing is just insane especially in Rush. Balancing rush i think will be impossible on the beta for the simple fact that people arent sure what to do about the tanks yet and you wont have that many options to fight them however we will see in whats what when the final release comes. That being said from what I saw I cannot recommend full price for this game just yet. I just cant see it being something that can hold peoples attention for very long.

Yea I played for about an hour last night and I have mixed feeling about it. The gun dynamics (recoil, bloom etc) I find awesome. You actually have to account for recoil on each shot and lead the target a bit. The gas grenades and trench warfare bring an interesting twist. The unlocks are pretty easy to purchase as you level up. You have to level specific kit to get anything beyond the basic weapons so you can't just play recon the entire time and unlock the other kits. You have to play the kits to unlock that kit which is a nice. I found the tank warfare OP, if you are on foot you basically run from tanks. We rolled a 5 man TPG Heavy tank last night for a bit and steamrolled everything we encountered except the train which we eventually also took out. The game has potential but I am not seeing it worth 120 bucks...I already preordered the base base through amazon for 47.99 (25% off) and I find it worth that price tag....but once the DLCs starting adding up I am not sure. I will play it some more this weekend before I make a final decision on canceling my preorder

For some reason @ end of round my personal stats aren't showing any thoughts? Those folks having concerns about meeting min specs the unpark utility helped me my cpu is running @ 3.1 and my vid card is a R9 380x, 8 gigs of ddr3 and I ended a round at the top of the leader board but couldn't ss because end of round stats not showing up

. But yeah 120 bucks is a bit rich for my blood, however I do enjoy the game and I can only imagine it getting better.

I had no ending stats in my games last night either, assumed its a beta thing, I did level up to like level 9 though and was able to use the level up currency to buy equipment unlocks.

Guess there is a bug in beta where its not leveling up your class beyond the first match you play on a server. So you have to play 1 match then leave and go to another server to level up the classes /sigh

The stats were working for me a few nights ago right when the early access people got in, but it wasn't working for me last night though just like Deputy. I too was able to still level my class though and get some sweet medic unlocks like the medic bag and the marksman and sharpshooter rifles

Well no you weren't you had a legitimate concern about an aspect of a game and isn't like you came in here slinging insults which I respect. This is why I like the new feel to the weapons. Coming from gaming mostly in Arma for most of the year I find it a nice change and it promotes more consideration in the way you move and how you engage in combat which is a huge deal in Arma. I found myself unable to just play like I did in BF4 due to the drastic changes in gunplay which is why I found it really refreshing. I felt like I had to bare in mind that this gun was made 100 years ago and that it is not the special ops accurate beast of a firearm we have today. The guns back then had real limitations and in some ways you feel that ingame. I see where you are coming from though especially if you want to take a more competitive approach to a game however I think we can all agree that the competitive play days in battlefield are kinda over and sadly many competitive players have moved on to games like CS:GO, DOTA, and Overwatch. That being said this is just beta and things can change. We have seen how fast they can make changes to games running on Frostbite with the CTE projects so maybe with feedback we can see the changes we want be made before the game comes out.
