I contacted the host and this was the response:

"Yes, there appears to be some sort of lag on your connection as the hops
are taking a long time to connect.

It might be best to contact your local system admin or ISP and provide
them with the traceroute that you provided us."

As WE ALL KNOW it is not just me who is having this problem and I am not prepared to accept that my ISP is to blame. Please can anyone who reads this do the following:

Click Start
Click Run
Type "cmd.exe" and hit enter.
Type "tracert azhforum.co.uk" and hit enter.
Let the program run and then copy and paste the results into a PM to send to me. This will ensure any private data is only seen by me. The host has admitted there is an issue. I am not going to accept that the issue is just at my end. Even if only three people do this and send me the info along with their location in the world and their ISP, we will have enough information to prove it is not an ISP problem.

Who was it who said, "help me to help you. Help me to help you." I forget, whatever, send me the data.

I will do that as soon as I get home AzH, I cannot do it from my work computer as I have sensitive and confidential information on here.

As much as it hurt's me to say this AzH because i can tell that you're rushing all over the place trying to get this fixed which must be really fustrating, it's still slower than ever for me .

Edit: I'll do that data thing in a minute.

I get about a 5 second pause before I enter a thread, reply to a thread, or bring up a forum, thats about it. Other than that it runs fine.

I'm going to try to work with AzH and see if this is something we can find on our end (forum wise) thats causing this little bit of lag but so far everything checks out.

Side Note: I have more games for the arcade and will install them soon - I'd just like to see this lag issue fixed first.

You need to click on the C:\ at the top of the CMD window, click 'select all' ten go back in and click 'copy', and there you go...Bob's your uncle.

It still seems a bit on the slow side compared to other forums. I get a 5-10secs pause b4 I go anywhere in azhforum. And I have a good connection. Other than that its fine right now.
