Re: Souless Bastards!
heh. yeah. luckily for me, i live alone, and normally play with my headphones on, with no other sounds in the apt. that distinct 'chink' sound makes me drop what i'm doing and whirl around with my voss. that's one gunfight you don't want to bring a knife to

Re: Souless Bastards!
Actually this is, to me, one of the only down side to playing on this server. There are times I see my team getting its ass handed to it and Hit tab to see we are playing 17 vs 23. Playing with a 25% man power shortage sucks
- there is a delay between those kicks/disconnects and the auto balancing process; especially if the other side is entirely squaded up. Sometimes it doesn't seem to care about reaching into a squad to team switch someone, other times it seems like it refuses to do it...
Please do not hesitate to HOLLER for an ADMIN if your team is playing like a bunch of lone wolfing knuckle draggers.
The Admin team cannot force the auto balancer to do its job, but they can make sure teamplay is being enforced on both sides.

Re: Souless Bastards!
really, i haven't once seen it where if the team is unbalanced in numbers, and someone hollers out for the other team to try to balance it out, where the other team doesn't do just that. that's what i like about this server.
just holler out for it.

Victory dance for being in a screenshot. Head hanging of it being of the one time i got my ass knifed all night. Curses!
Those two Bavaria maps were really damn long. First one we ran out of tickets with four seconds left. And the second time we had four tickets left.

Re: Souless Bastards!
That was an ass whoopin. I sold my soul a long long time ago and since I only have one, what the heck. That was a disgusting display of ownage. I did see that the teams were 7 or 8 people skewed. I did switch a couple unsquaded people to your team but they probably were not much use unless they got the hint and squaded up.
Just ask Jesus--Life is not fair biscuit!

Bah @ braddoc's screenshots.
Yeah there were a bunch of chucklenuts on our team yesterday. We had one squad talking and doing things the rest of them were off giving each other reach arounds. Next time I will just bring my A game and whoop your asses.
At least I have the peace of mind that when you guys were blowing up our assets on shitty taiba I got to blow braddoc & turtle away with my shotgun. Unlucky for me I was reloading when firedog showed his face.

Yay! For once my tags aren't in a screenshot.
Biscuit, I know exactly where you're coming from. I played one or 2 rounds early in the day, went out with a girl to the movies and got on late. I don't remember when you were kicking my ass, but I do remember going up againt you.
I won't reiterate points others have already made. The autobalancer can do only so much. I watch the games and its always amazing to me that the team that has more unsquadded people tends to lose more often.
The only thing I can say to you is to become a TTP apostle. Spread the word. Influence the others. Form squads, invite others in to your squads. Join squads with some junior members. Send Team messages in all caps about what your squad is doing. Send Team messages about whatever the situation is. Talk to the people in your squad, see if they even know HOW to communicate. If not, teach them, tell them about the Page Up and Page Down keys. Interact, instruct, interact some more.
I've done this time and time again and it works. I've grabbed some junior players in to my squad. They see the light. But the next round comes, they don't join my squad fast enough and they either form their own squad or take the new found glow with them in to another squad. Pretty soon, the tide starts changing.
And you're right. I've been on the opposite side of a whole team full of regulars. It's an absolute blood pressure raising bitch. Most often, it seems I am going against GI_Jeff and Turtlesexx these days. It just makes me happy that after they kill me my sentry guns take them down with me. :::: insert evil grin here ::::
