    55 Teamwork Score Tips

Recently I got my 55 teamwork score for the Valorous Unit Service Ribbon and I thought I might pass along what I did that was a huge help in getting it. To some people, these things may seem obvious, but I got mine on the second try so it seemed to work well. Also, it is pretty situational. In other words, a long round with balanced teams is a must in my opinion.

First thing, be in titan mode and go to the enemy titan and destroy all four titan guns. This gives you 2 points each or a total of 8 teamwork points. If you get lucky, someone will start to repair them right away so you can get 8 more. The limit is 16 here so when you get your second Titan attack badge, thats it. This gives you 16 points right off the bat. If they dont repair them, go back a bit later and they will probably be up again.

Second, cap silos. If you cap silos alone or if you are the first one there you get 3 points each. One point for neutralizing and two for capping. So if you can cap just 5 silos this way plus the titan guns, you are already 31 points toward your ribbon. A good idea here is to go recon and spam apms at the silos also. That way you might get a few silo defense scores. A good idea here might be to get in a transport and fly from silo to silo. Even if there are people in the transport with you, you will always be the first one there and get all the points if you are in the drivers seat.

Third, repair your own titan guns. You can get I believe 16 total points for this as well before it caps out. There is usually someone trying to take them out so just keep repairing till the points stop. Another thing, you keep getting points if someone is sitting in the gun you are trying to repair, whereas if its empty, as I mentioned, it caps at 16. Also, you get the points when you bring it from red to green, (From inoperative to operative) So you don't need to fully repair them (unless, as mentioned, someone is sitting in it. Then you keep getting points). You can jump from gun to gun just bringing it to green, but wait a few seconds in between or you might not get the points.

Now, Go on the titan and kick some a**. A lot of people will tell you to be one class or the other on titan defense, but I say be the class you own the best with, whatever that is. An idea you might consider is to be support. That way you can supply ammo to the hallway camping recon guys and assault guys, and set up sentry guns either in a hallway or on a roof for some free points. Then roam and kill, each titan defense kill is one teamwork point.

The key is to KEEP MOVING. Listen for people calling for ammo, keep podding up to the roof and looking for enemies. Maybe switch to recon a couple of times and drop some apms, then when you die switch back to support. When I got my ribbon I went back and forth between all classes.

Some things not to do, at least until the 1.2 patch. Dont worry so much about healing when capping silos. It takes too long for points, and people will just run away when you try to heal them most of the time. You should go ahead and drop med kits for hallway campers of course when you go to titan defense if you are assault, but I reccomend engi/support when going for this badge.

Another thing to remember is that you can get quite a few teamwork points reparing titan guns if they are occupied. A full large titan server with 48 or more usually means many titan reapir chances, especially if the titans move. I have seen people get 80+ teamwork points just doing this.

I hope this helps, and please let me know of any other good ideas I may have missed, as I am sure there are many!

    Re: 55 Teamwork Score Tips

What I've found is the best way to get teamwork score (55 or no) is, on titan defense, either be a support guy (best when you have 2 or 3 assaults keeping up a wave of rockets down the corridor) or a medic, and keep those boxes down at all times.

One game, my squad was defending, and there were just masses of guys trying to get at us, our squad leader had98 squdleader points, it was ridiculous.

Not teamwork points i know, but something neat to add.

    Re: 55 Teamwork Score Tips

Sounds like a round I had last month where I was leading a squad defending console 1. The enemy was relentless in their attack throwing wave after wave into the meat grinder. I was a grenade throwing fool when we were getting rushed and fortunately everyone else was that I was supplying. We had 2 support, 3 rocket firing medics and 1 recon using up RDX and APMs like they had an expiration date. I kept them all well supplied. BAM...Valorous Merit Ribbon!

Afterwards I had 3 pages of awards to scroll through, got 3200 pts, total score of 100, team score of 63 with 37 kills. Forgot what the squad score was.

Anyone wanting the Valorous Merit Ribbon, just play Support defending your Titan and it will come pretty easy.

    Oh noes, 98?

That's a little high, but if they're pushing on defense (or you're doing well on the ground), it's far from undoable. People just don't ever seem to put out those squad leader orders.

    Wildwest for RTCW

Hi all. My brother mentioned this MOD for RTCW somewhere here but I wanted to make an official introduction to this awesome FREE game....thats right you heard me....FREE!!!!

We have a standalone you can get here: WildWest Files Here

I welcome everyone to download the game and give it a try. Most that play get hooked. One comment though is it is not played like RTCW. Team work is needed and also if you try to run around like a RTCW frag fest you will die and be unhappy. As you take damage your movement slows down. So cover and making good shots is a bonus.

If you have any questions or comments please let me know. Also check out my WildWest Forum at: Hang Em High :: Index

The description of this game is:

The WildWest is a Multiplayer modification of the game Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

It was designed and created by Hewster & BoltyBoy (H-Big)

    Background

Set in the later half of the 19th century around the Western states of America bordering Mexico. A land plagued with disputes, lawlessness, gunfights and some of that periods most gruesome characters. An ex-Mexican army captain turned bandit, driven by a personal vendetta, has formed a mob of some of the most ruthless Mexican bandits to sweep a reign of terror through the land.

Players can choose to take on the role of a Bandit or Cowboy as these two groups confront each other in all out gunfights through various scenarios.

    Player Classes and weapons:

Like RTCW, Each side has access to four classes based on those of RTCW and each class has access to various weapons. There are many new authentic and 1 not quite so authentic WildWest weapons to choose from, including colts, Harper's Ferry musket, Molotov cocktails, Volley rifles, dynamite sticks, and much much more.

    Maps:

We have 7 multiplayer maps to play on, and more in the works... maps range from smallish levels ideal for 5v5 battles, to huge open levels where many more players can have some great gun totin fun.
Also added to the maps are a selection of small features such as animated horses and characters, which add a new level realism to our maps.

    Gameplay:

We intended for WildWest to play at a slightly slower pace than RTCW. We hope that this will make it more like the old western movies and Clint style action where taking cover behind a rock or hiding in a clump of brush can be more beneficial than legging forward with all guns blazing.
We aimed to make team play more important in the WildWest than in RtCW, and to this end we believe we have succeeded.

Unlike Wolf, taking hits will cause you injury and slow you down. This is great when you're the attacker as you can see the results of your attack on the enemy but if you're the one taking the damage you'll find yourself praying you can make it to cover before your finished! Players can now recuperate some health by resting. If your stamina is at full, you will regain health up to a maximum of 70. Again this should highlight the importance of taking cover when you're under fire or hit, and working as a team.

    Voices:
We have a brand new set of Mexican and cowboy voices to add to the gaming experience. This is certainly the cherry on the cake. Our testers have been in stitches when bandits taunt the enemy with "Di Cowboys are runnin like di chickins!" amongst many great new phrases.

Its a refreshing change from those hyper frag fests, and yes it's become a family game.

I advise taking care around players with Jr or little in the name as those are sons and daughters of many wild westers. (the youngest is 5-6 that I know of, and it only takes them about a year to get real leathal)

The game of life is too short to be taken seriously
