Another odd squad glitch

I was playing squad leader earlier today and I randomly got kicked from my squad. It took me a while to figure out that I was without squad. Once I noticed I was able to rejoin my squad but someone else had the squad leader position.

Then later on the next map it happened again to the squad leader. But this time it was someone else who was the leader and got kicked, not me. He rejoined the squad but no longer had the leader position.

I was wondering why you weren't in the Squad for a few minutes, weird, i've never seen that bug before.

Never had that. Only when I get kicked off the server totally.

Well what I think happend was (This has happened to me before) you accidentely hit ht einsert button and it boots you out of your current squad cause it thinks you want to create a new one when normally that is not the case.

I do that all of the time and I usually get screwed because I accidentally switch teams and then I can't get back on my original team.

Happens to me periodically, maybe when switching kits I hit wrong button. All of a sudding I figure out no one is talking to me anymore - Oh, I'm not in squad!!!

When you hit insert does it put you in a new squad for you to lead? I wasn't in any squad, just playing lone wolf when I realized that this had happened.

I'll rebind my insert key to have no function just to be safe.

It happens. Sometimes it seems like it picked the wrong person to autobalance starts the process and then deposits you back on the same team. Very odd when it happens especially if your still chatting away like someone is listening to you.
