Some highs and lows on the server tonight (7/30)

In the midst of some frustrations tonight on the PR server, I ran into a crew of good teamplayers that I didn't get a chance to invite to the forums, and hope that someone will if you see them again.

FSSFFFR k3ji#, FSSF SoC./Kilo and FSSF SyntheticCoyote were a excellent squad to work with. They moved like a team, communicated and got the job done. If you see any of them on the server, please invite them to the forums. I think they would be great regulars to have around.

Up to that point, the team I was on was disorganized, not using voice, and generally getting our rears handed to us in a sling. We had Nuckle and couple of other good leaders against us, and it was painful. On Bi Ming we started turning it around, and on Desert Storm things really came together towards the end., despite a few problem players.

We really needed some admin action on the Desert Storm map. If you see "Delta-Jorge" or "Sgt_Cody_C" beware on insurgency maps they need some instruction on not shooting Civilians. Between the two of them, they added 200 tickets to the opposing team's score. "Marine_Anti_Taliban" was apparently taking his name too seriously, shooting his insurgent comrades.

Overall, the battle on Desert Storm was a blast. USMC had the advantage early on pushing through all the flags up to the canyon, but the Insurgents set up a solid defense at the canyon gate, and through the devious use of civilians as human shields, defended tenaciously. We had a few problems with squad leaders not having mics, but overall the team worked well together, and thanks to the ferocity of two squads, pushed through the canyon area and rolled up the insurgent defense again.

Unfortunately, at this point we were at 100 tickets or less, and ran out before we could finish pushing through to the final flag. A good fight, especially good action by the defenders at the canyon gate.

Just for knowledge, this guy got banned last night at the time you are discussing "Marine_Anti_Taliban".....

We have noticed that some of the players have been shooting the Civilians, instead of arresting them.... We could add a server warning message that Intentional Shooting of Civilians can Result in being Banned from the Server...

We are already discussing this and appreciate you bringing it up.....

We just cannot allow the few players out there to just shoot the civilians because, #1 it adds big points the the Insurgents and #2 it adds alot of Time to your Respawn time, even if it was an accident.

DO NOT SHOOT THE Civilians.... Arrest them or let them be. Check your Fire and Make Sure Your Target is HOSTILE....

i remember I did that a while ago - and thought it was lame cause it gave me a mediocre score ONLY because i dont have short hair....
i think I got a B+...im not sure.

scratch that - i dont even think that is a possible score.

anyway - i took it again and got a Z+

An F in emotional means your emotionally numb, not that you're potentialy homicidal. So, that's not necessarily a bad thing.
