Thread: what will happen....

When 2142 hits it's shelf life? I have'nt seen alot of new faces lately. Seems like all the regs are heavily decoated General's.... Is 2142 swirling the drain?

Hopefully the new patch will breath some new life into it.
But keeping it going doesn't make EA much money, I am sure some is coming in, but nothing like a pay to play game would.

I think it will be ok look at BF2 its still going, 2142 has not even got a expansion pack yet so just wait we will be ok. And better yet just look a CS:S still going after how many years??

Nope, it's a "Booster Pack", which is EA's way to make money continually by selling tiny chunks of content every few months.

Yeah, I would think they would have to include the US in an expansion. I do not think the US would idly stand by and not compete for a land grab or at least help their western allies if the Americas weren't as affected. Maybe BF2: SF wasn't nearly as profitable as the smaller boosters so they are just sticking with them.
