Anyone else notice these two issues?

With over 750 hours in AT kit, I can self declare I am a bit of expert on this kit.

Over the last two weeks I have noticed my missiles going through APCs and Tanks and hitting the ground on the otherside.

These are not far away shots that I have missed. Most have been very up close.

I have never seen anything like this on the other servers I played on regularly, so I thought I would post here.

It is very similar to the well know bug of shooting a DPV or FAV from the front. But these have been from all sides and dead on hit (or should of been).

I would like to point out again I have only seen this happen over the last few weeks.

Secondly

I have been getting disconnected from the server very randomly. I would like to say it always happens at a critical moment, but its kinda like getting a phone call when you playing, every moment is critical.

Anyway, once again. I do not seem to have this problem on other servers. Also I can always rejoin after it happens.

I was wondering................if someone could be doing it, like other players. I have played a few other on line games where is was possible for disruptive players to disconnect you.

I have already talked to my DSL provider and everything checks out with them.

It could be a latency issue. It could be the fact that the images are registering on your screen when in reality the enemy target is already past you. There have been a lot of reports of some lag lately but I believe it has been fixed.

To start off... Jeep, you are a beast with the rocket, you always manage to hit me no matter what im doing :P

But yes, I have noticed rockets going through everything, especially APC's... the other day on Sharqi, I had both a TOW missile and a rocket go through an APC... and lately I've noticed sniper rifle shots not registering... as in, I shoot them and only see this "poof" when the bullet hits but no hit indication.

I've also experiences random disconnections, but I just assumed it was my internet =/

Nothing pisses me off more, then having shots not register or go through, and then the other person blows your brains out.

As for random disconnects if my computer is on for more then 6 hours and I try to get on BF2 it will disconnect me and I have to restart my computer and all is well. It happens in 2142 as well.

I only had it happen to me once last Tuesday night while using the AT kit and my rocket went right through an APC. And it was a broadside shot from about 20 feet away. I just chalked it up to lag, but if it happened to me more, red flags would have went up and I would have dug into the issue further. I haven't played at another server for a while so I don't know if it's just a TTP issue or not.
On the second issue, I haven't been randomly disconnected from the server. (If this is a hacker issue I'm sure I'm not seen as a threat to them like I'm sure Jeep does) I have had issues with joining squads, it's like the "Join" buttons don't work at all but from what I hear that's a normal glitch of the system so if I disconnect and join again it usually lets me join a team again. But not always.
For what it's worth, that's my 2 cents Jeep. I hope these two issues clear up. I like being in your squad and I don't want your AT rockets to miss and I sure don't want you to be disconnected.

I recognised this too lately. Once with a Vodnik and once with a soldier. I guess the soldier was afk or checking the map or whatever but he did not move I shoot him from a distance of about 50 meters and the missile went trough him and strait on. (I did not miss him)
I then changed to the P90 and shot him with with a few bullets.
My ping is always high but I usually have no problem with it.

Yea, you are correct in saying you are an expert with the AT. I promise your missle are not going through me because normally I'm dead. GJ As for the disconnect, I do get it as well. Very annoying. I recently put a line filter/power conditioner on my cable modem and router. I have not been disconnected for 2 days now. I'm not sure if it is the line filter or the fact I restarted all my devices. Hope that helps.
