Thread: Gotta love PunkBuster...

well something is going on with PB cause several people including myself are being kicked for "service Communication Failure" or something like that... not sure but i really wanna play PR :5

All accross the board on PR and BF2, you hit connect to game and it tells you that you lost connection, Hit connect again and the 2nd time, It will take you in.....

I've been noticing this, since around 8-22.

Your problem sounds different though, You might want to go make sure you have the latest update for PB. Your client might need updating, since you just re-did everything.

a couple of the 2142 players were having the same server communication problem...we've got more than a couple threads over there with answers for it.

As for PB...last time i was playing on TTP there was a tremendous amount of lag and people were dropping left and right. There was a lot of buzz going around on the servers about PB having problems...i experienced a few myself.

The problem seemed to disappear when i manually updated the thing...


Also, @gore, i can't see the screen shot of the problem !

That could be your problem right there.

Correct install --> Install BF2. Install Highway Tampa. Patch BF2 to current version. Install PR last.

What I've read, haven't done it recently:

If installing expansion/booster packs --> Install BF2. Install SF. Install boosters. Patch BF2 to current version. Install PR.

I almost said the exact same thing...

Very impressive. I have only pulled off a bounce off wall pounce once and it was by aciddent. Usually to do 25, i have to do it in one jump.

So i noticed that you aim UP when pouncing then look straight down and steer. I definetly learned a lot fromt his video.

Massive ownage at 4:45 when you land a 25 on Zoey then when bill comes to melee he gets 25ed. Also they are boomed so commons are owning them.
