Thread: BF2 University - Flying/Bombing 102

The turnout for the first BF2 University Flying/Bombing practice session was great, I think we all learned some new tricks/tactics. That being said and with the Lukewarm response towards Sniping 101, I decided to see if there would be more of an Interest this time around with Flying Planes for bombing runs/evading air threats, and Close Air Support.

Also including Helicopters for Close Air Support and TV missiles/pilot missiles/mini gun practice.

Experienced Pilots would would like to be instructors for Flying Planes Please Sign up! (note 2 on a side)

One Instructor for Bombers on each Side.

One Instructor for Fighters on each side.

I was thinking of having Dalian Plant, so we could have the Chinese side use East Oilfield and switch it up from time to time so there could be 2 Chinese gunships in the air at a time, and 2 Cobra's in the air at a time.

Experienced Helicopter Pilots/Gunners please Sign up to be instructors.

Dragon Valley is another Option as well for this. As well as other suggestions for maps.

Please vote as to what time best works for you, and any other suggestions you have.

Final Approval will be given from the admins, upon practice server availability.

Modifications will be made if need be.

*I am also thinking that Zatar Wetlands could be a good map, for evading/bombing practice, and practicing Close Air Support (CAS)*

I voted a Friday but I'll try to get there any day that is picked. Friday and Saturday nights aren't the best for me, it being the weekend and all, but whatever day is picked I'll do my best to show up. I can get by on the ground but my life expectancy in the air is even worse than it is on the ground. I need training, I need :8

I've changed the poll so you can select two options. If you already voted, please select one more date/time. Also, please let us know whether you will be an instructor or pupil. Finally if you are a pupil, we will need you to act as bait when you're not in the air.

The last time we did this, we had a real productive session. We also had some of TTP's better pilots helping with the instructing.

Don't like the "stacked" teams you've experienced lately? Get signed up and learn to fly and/or gun. Now you can work on countering the air superiority

We will try to make this a more advanced session since the beginner course already took place.

student all around. Im passable in a chopper, but need a lot of help with dog fighting and evading with both heli and jet.

all the students are again bait right?

I'll pony up as an instructor in the bomber or jet, but would like to be a student for gunning in the chopper. Still haven't quite got the hang of the TV missle.
