I have to say, im really liking the new map Tampa. But then again I am a bit of a filthy armor whore

. It reminds me of a great Desert Combat map called "DC 73 Eastings" - basically more tanks than you can shake a gunship at. Its nice to have one map where I dont have to worry about the attack helos or those guided missiles from the planes.

I also really like Karkand, mastuur, Sharqi, jalalalal...bad.
Wake'07 is quite fun too when ya get in a good squad.

That is the beauty of BF2 and its maps. Every map has its own challenges. But if you are playing Tampa I think they should have given the buggies a turbo.

strike at karkand has to be my all time favorite.. Its a hard, small, and brutal playing field where you always have an enemy to shoot at.

highway tampa should have had more bridges and maybe ones that intersected eachother, with exits, think of the battles that could have caused and think of the damage one could have inflicted with mines/c4 (maybe even have the bridges themself become damaged with mine explosions etc)

and 1 more fighter plane would have been great, im glad there are no attack helo's or bombers.

I can't really deiced so here are my top 3.

1 Kubra Dam i love the bombers
2 Wake Island lots off jets
3 Daqing Oilfields tons of AA

It used to be wake island. Nothing beat playing as USMC and moving up along the southern approach to the Airfield. You could get some sick fights going on there. But recently I've found that those fights don't happen as much. Either PLA dominates or people take the northern approach. Sharqui is probably my favorite now. Perfect map for someone who loves the sniper and medic classes like me.
