    Major Error with BF2

    I just downloaded "Special Forces" and when I try and load "Special Forces" up I get this:

    Sorry for the bad quality, it says:

    "mods/bf2/shaders/lighting.fx not found!!! _DO_ check your working directory, _AND_ sync your shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer/GP.(really!)"

    I know I've seen this problem on the forum, but couldn't find it again. Please help, I really want to get into BF2 now that I got what I need, but it won't let me. Any ideas or solutions?

    Just some thoughts...
    I believe BF2 and SF need to be on the same drive.
    Also, sometimes you have to run the full patch (1.41) once you install SF.
    Try those. They may help. Joe

    AIs picking up pipebombs/moltovs?.

    Do you think in the new L4D that they'll actually have the AIs be able to pick up & throw pipebombs/moltovs?.

    No.
    The other day I was talking about why AIs don't take pipebombs and I figure its because they might not be "smart" enough to know when to throw an explosive. Even if they were smart enough to know when to throw a Molotov or a pipebomb I'm sure they'd be oblivious to whether you were planning on tossing one or not.

    yeah, they could easily block of an entrance with a molly, etc.

    No, becuse than you see a tank and the pipe bome is gone froume the table and the AI thwon it to the tank and than the hode comes in L4D 2's suver mode and you only have 5 bullits left. It what would happen in the suver mode if AI's could thown a Molotov or a pipebomb.

    I figured.
    The only reason I thought they might be able to was after seeing some of the game play-throughs on YouTube & I thought at one point I saw a bot throw a pipebomb.
    Meh, whatever.

    I always thought it wouldn't have been a bad idea to give the player the option to tell the AI to throw a pipebomb or molotov, such as in one of the radial dialogue menus. Although that would probably require a substantial modding of the game engine, and I doubt the AI would be smart enough to throw it right anyway.
