I don't know about everyone else, but mechs = awesome. Supposed to be more info in the May 06 PC Gamer.

If we can manage to avoid the pseudo-political motivation behind creating a game based on a second ice-age caused by global warming... then it looks like a real cool game.

I am still waiting for a real developer to create the next "Planetside"... the MMOFPS...

Looks really cool.

I was a big fan of Planetside also, until they brought in the "mechs". I've got nothing against mechs actually, but I felt like the game was moving in the wrong direction. I wanted players to be more specialized, but the devs kept making it easier and easier to be an "all-purpose soldier". When they brought in the mechs, that was the last straw for me.

Hopefully, BF2142 will pick up where PS fell short by offering real classes. Definately the graphics and animations are very nice.

What server did you play on?

I was BzA, Leader of the Ghosts of the Revolution VS on Emerald.

PS was teh shizzle until their "BFR" (Big Fun-Ruiners) were released. Not to mention Core (Bore) Combat...

I disagree. It has some technical hiccups associated with hardware and sound but once I got those ironed out the game plays beautifully and is the perfect combination of DOD style conquest and CS-style weapons.

Im totally addicted ATM, hence I havent been on CSS in a few days.

I LOVE Battlefield 2. I get BiGG-D! or bigdog to fly me around in the cobra and we will blow EVERYTHING up. I will take yo punk ass out from across the f'in map. Damn i miss it.
