I am trying to get bf2 soon so i hope to see you all on the server and get that rank up fast. see you soon. :4

seriously, welcome to the game in advance. Take some time to play it in the single player mode before joining up online. TTP's BF2 server is populated by some talented and high ranking guys that can make a novice's first game a miserable experience (lol).

If you know other experienced players, ask them to host a game in their PC and give you a tour of the maps and weapons. You can also get some of us (hint hint) to do that in TTP's practice server.

EK does this with all of our new players. It helps them hit the ground running and it makes their play time a little less frustrating till they get the hang of it.

Unlike 2142, you don't get a rank for every 100 points you earn. Therefore, you will not in fact "rank up fast."

Isn't BF2 really cheap now?

you dont get rank for every hundred in 2142 :5 and i mean im going to play a lot.

yeah i saw all the games and expansions for like $40 it said oh weel every if not ill get em all

Just remember, it's one helluva change going from BF2142, to Bf2, and vice versa.

It'll take some getting used to, and our BF2 server, just like our BF2142 server, has some of the best talent around playing on it, so don't get discouraged either.

I didn't have too much trouble switching, only problem I had was that BF2 is mostly a faster game. Not so much the time each game takes, but the overall speed. Like.. Run speed and such is faster, at least it seems that way. Other than that, I didn't have too much trouble adjusting. And yeah, don't get discouraged, just takes some getting used to.
