I hadn't thought of that, but that's probably what's happening. I can't always see the VOIP icon so I thought that no one could hear me. After getting killed is one of the best times to provide intel (like iravedic stated above) so I always try to communicate when I'm dead. I'll have to test that tonight, if I am able to get some precious TTP BF2 time in, and see if that is what is going on.

This "communicating when dead" is getting spooky

Seriously though, it is ironic how much more you can see when you are dead - to communicate to your team. Seems like it is almost a glitch in the game - you should not be able to gather intel when you are dead.

I've never noticed this, I always seem to be able to communicate when after I die. Usually spot guys for my squad until I die, if I'm out in front. :P

Okay, here is the scenario!

You are walking home one night from the local drug store and you take a back alley. Passing by a few unconscious bodies you see a large figure limping ahead. You call out to it and all you receive is a long moan, you then approach him with a few steps and notice the blood pouring from his mouth and his eyes whitened. He lunges for you and grabs your shirt and looks into your eyes.

You then realise, its a zombie.

I would grab my pens in my pockes stabe the pens though it's eyes grabe a wepen kill it than run in the local drug store kill all zombies and baraked the doors/windwos.
