I like the idea about random car alarms: it sucks when people deliberately set off the alarm from afar and then camp in a corner (particularly on DA2, where you can shoot it from a rooftop).
Breakable floors is a good point too and water should definitely slow both the survivors and the infected down.
I don't know if there's much point in having a new SI just for people who speed rush ahead though: surely a hunter/smoker could do the same job?
My idea for a new special infected would be "The Flamer": a mutated, bulky zombie in a hazmat suit, with a flame-thrower. It'd be impervious to fire (so no moly/fire bullet damage). It'd have to be played a bit like the boomer: attacking from round corners/ jumping down from ledges etc,, and could set the survivors on fire (doing the same amount of damage as a molotov). It could also be used tactically to set other SI on fire, so that they deal more damage.RIP Mike Starr

I for one would like to see the infected survive for a short while on fire and still be dangerous, like they are on expert and do slightly more damage. It's a pity that it's only on expert because no one is particularly interested in being hit for 20 damage from a non-flaming infected.
Also, don't feed the trolls.

I like the idea of a Seeker, an Infected who is unseen until the last moment and silently stalks the Survivours, picking off stragglers.
I think that idea would encourage more teamplay, picture the scenario...

I like the idea of breakable floors, ladders, and stairs.
I should add that it would be even better if it separates the team.
For example: The team of four moves up a ladder. The ladder breaks leaving two behind.
So that means two would be at the top of the ladder and two would be at the bottom. They can eventually rendezvous at the end of the building or something.
I hate the fact that the four are always together. Making some kind of separation would put fear into them. For me, I'm not even scared when I have three other people with me. But when I have one person with me, I'm not gonna be the one dying!
