Ultimate Armor
ok so the games are not easy translated with each other but what do you think about the ultimate bad ass tank between Warhammer 40k's Land Raider and 2142's Goliath?
They function very similarly and even look a tad like each other.
The culprits:

Re: Ultimate Armor
Goliath is a poorly-armed slow moving vehicle that has easily exploited weak spots on its side, and only carries 6 people.
The Land Raider is a STC-based super-heavy tank with heavy armament, good speed (and high speed possible), able to withstand a nuclear-level blast, and armed with a dozen heavily armed Space Marine terminators.
What do YOU think. Mm-hm.
I should really get back into playing 40k again sometime soon...

Re: Ultimate Armor
I swear I must be the only person in the world who has never played Warhammer 40k because just about everyone else I know who has BF2142 has played it. That said, if what everyone else is saying is true, the Goliath loses this battle. The Goliath needs two things to make it suck far less; the ability to turn faster (seriously, it's slower than owl dung to turn that thing around) and be immune to EMP. I mean how retarded is it that one support soldier lobbing a neverending supply of EMP nades can keep a rolling-fortress-type vehicle in complete lockdown? :5
