i actually un installed that game 2 weeks ago :9

fuck that game it had me in some mmo trance for months

If its not one thing its another.
I have re-installed twice and it gives me the same error message. All my drivers are up to date and the mic works fine in any other game. With that said if you see me in the server and dont hear me, now you know why. I will be using the automated speak keys until this somehow fixes itself. :9

This type of problem sure resembles that of sound drivers. Check and make sure that you do not have multiple Audio divices installed (ie, on-board sound, sound card), then make sure that you have the latest drivers (NOT windows drivers, but from mfg.).

So after watching a few of these crazy pounce clips on Youtube, I decided to try and do high pounces by going on some elevated area, crouch, aim upwards, pounce and try to land on a survivor. This can deal a shitload of damage and just feels so great if you pull it off.
I usually call this "artilery jumping" because it reminds me how the Artillery in the Red Alert games shot their shells in an arc so it got further

So are there other people who pounce like this? It's much harder than going to the border of a roof, aiming directly at your target and pounce from there.

Any experienced player pounces in this manner.

The latter method you described is pretty much how someone new to the game tries to get their McPounce on.
