i like the grappling hook idea....night vision and night time maps would be interesting. Maps with more routes through the map would be nice. Maybe a map that is indoors (ie all corridors so sniping is impossible) that would force close quarters combat. Lasers would be really fun. Destroyable terrain/buildings would add an interesting element where you could blow a hole in the side of a building and use it to flank the enemy. Make Vehicles and such stronger but once destroyed they are out of the game for the round. It would make vehicles more closely guarded and repairs would be a priority. As it is now you can ram your vehicle to take out a walker then spawn back in and grab a new vehicle when it respawns. It would add a more realistic aspect to vehicle warfare.

I think the game is very balanced the way it is. I do like the idea of having the "Spotted" button work on all types of mines and the idea of giving commanders the ability to kick squad leaders. Fixing all the lag and bugs would be enough for me. If you want a ton of new features like destructible terrain it's going to take a new game (which I wouldn't mind).

New maps with different Titans, maybe a fortress or some fixed point that could be assaulted like a titan.

I want water warfare. Why don't they have boats and hovercraft (I know there's a hover tank - land only) and sea-doos? All the other BF games have it - why the hell doesn't 2142? And they could implement it without making a whole new game, just new maps.

oh shit! YES give me a future sub like the one from 1942!

naval warfare in 1942 was so much fun! Midway had a tiny little island and a shit ton of ships. it was a naval air combat map and kick SO much ass.
