Thread: FYI - have you noticed......

Do you ever look at that little black box in the left hand column? The one from Game-Monitor.com? Useful info there. How many people are on the server. If you click on it, it even tells you who is on the server, yada yada yada.

But the thing that I'd like to point out. As little as 2 weeks ago, we were ranked #68. And now...... :10 We picked up 2 spots since just yesterday. And look at that average. We are averaging that many players on the box, even with no one on the box during working hours, we are averaging over 24 players on the box.

Honestly, I think a lot of the surge came in direct relation to the "Let Notice Be Served" fallout. Maybe we are doing a better job of bringing people in. Perhaps we have infiltrators from other servers that drank the TTP kool-aid and became converts. Whatever, somethings working.

Congratulations to everyone. Whatever it is you are doing, keep it up.

I even saw mentioned on another forum outside of the EA ones, someone talking about Texas Teamplayers. It was a thread about stupid rules you have encountered on servers....one moaned about a stupid rule we had for you know...playing as a team....several others went -- and that's a bad thing?

Yep, I see that box, I like to see how it moves our rank up and down.

One of the neatest things about it is when you have to be somewhat absent for a week or two, you come back, and there are already a handful of new regulars in just that short a period of time.

I have had to write a ton of papers lately for this graduate level course and haven't been able to play.
I logged on yesterday and had a squad with several folks I had never seen before, but they already knew the big names and clans on the server, and were in complete lockstep with the TTP philosophy.

It's amazing how many people out there are DYING to find a place like this, even if they don't realize it until the first time they log on.

The way we pull in new players one day that rank will be top 10 I hope.

I recommend this server up sometimes to good squads when it is real late and I go to other servers when this one dies out.

Funny thing happened not too long ago when I was playing real late, and I was leading a squad, and there weren't a lot of regs on, and I didn't recognize the commander, but he told all the squad leads that we should check out the forum.

Also, I agree about the reserve slot. I got mine a week or two ago, and it is the best money I have spent recently.

I don't whether it was the new gore system, new AID or possibly the revealing of the Spitter, but, now, I can't wait to buy the game. I still don't totally agree with how soon the sequel is being released, but I caaaaan't wait
And does anyone know when the next, final, SI will be revealed?
