    Quake
    Rune
    Medal of Honor
    FEAR
    Call of Duty
    Supreme Commander
    STALKER
    Dark Messiah Might and Magic

Oh, and when I feel like being called the "N" word by some 12 year old with a southern drawl
    Halo 2

and I don't care if the sword is a newb weapon I love that friggin thing

It might be a little off topic but does anyone remember the NES game called "Base Wars"
It was a baseball game you played as a robot. If you were out you could fight for the base and kill the robot on defense. That game rocks.

Oh yeah, I remeber that game. You could buy and equip different weapons for the battles to get the bases. Some walked, some had tank treds. Very different game that needs to be re-done for the systems out there now. I would buy it.

Also, do you remember Link, the 2nd Zelda. I loved that F-ing game. First game to come out with a memory in the cartrage so it would save up to 3 profiles.

I never had the memory cartridge, You only had one shot for glory.
Or was it in the game itself, I can't remember.

I still frequently play Base Wars, and a little of Zelda 2. I just found out about ROMS a year ago. I love the old school NES stuff.

    Re: before 2142

My army dad played alot of FPS when he was around, so the first games I ended up playing was DOOM (original) and DUKE NUKEM 3D.

What a way to start huh?

    Re: before 2142

well there some old names and games coming in there .
    what can i say .
1st game i ever did was pong tenis on a binatone .
a cheap ass atari knock off .
then it was a vic 20 , blitz and froger .
here one for you young ones to laugh at .
    a vic 20 i had a 16 bit expansion put in there .
yes we did as some one said here run a hard drive through a tape deck .
    them was the days .
now to think back , and think on , games like , ghost recon .
    rainbow 6 .
    counter strike .
yes the good old ones from times back , and still we have them now , just different styles .
same games , just more updated .
with that in mind , where will battlefield go to next ?
we had the past , present , and a hundred and so years in the future .
    from there where ?
how far can they go before its just ruined for them ?
will they stay future , or some how try get more modern dated ?
and i got to say , so few did aliens vs preator , and primal hunt online ?
suprising that one , a old game , but with a good system , video to max , i got to say that game still rocks for game play .

Nope, don't have to look at all. If I remember right, this is the one where you had to have the cassette adapter for the Atari and the game loaded on the cassette tape.
Yes but you had to hold down the "Start" button on the side so it didn't load Basic.

How about those magazines that would have 10 pages of code you could type in and then type "Run" then spend another 4 hours trying for debug your typos. Plus you never wanted to start typing on of these in a rain storm since I don't think UPSs were around. Ahh the good old days.

    Code:
    10 print "Hello"
    20 goto 10
