Okay, about a week ago I noticed Francis' tattoos weren't as clear as they used to be, so i kept playing, then a bit further in Death Toll, I noticed that the blood on the walls from shooting zombie's was really low res. Everything else seems ok, but there are some other low res textures, sorry i have no pics to post atm. Nothing like this has happened before during L4D. All of my other games have no difference to them, only L4D has the low res textures. So...

- I've cleared my cache
- uninstalled the game
- reset the console
- re-installed the game
- downloaded the updates again

Still no difference. So i did it all up to re-installed the game then fooled around with my resolution, Reference settings, and the HDMI Color Space. Then Played the game a few times after downloading the updates, trying different settings each time then putting them to the original settings...and every time no difference, same S*%&$y low res textures as before.

If anyone has any idea for something else i should try please tell, any help would be appreciated.

By the way no scratches on my disc.

Does this happen when you play any other games?

Do you have any friends that could lend you a copy of their l4d? just to make sure there isnt something wrong with your disc that you cant see-

or if there is something wrong with you xbox - god forbid

I have tried 2 of my friends copies, but both were scratched up, but it was the same on there's as well, i'm pretty sure it's not my 360 cause other games play and look great, i wonder if it has something to do with the Crash Course update...who knows.

its possible. CC & the last update have screwed over so many things in l4d.

Im assuming youve tried your copy of l4d on their xboxs too?
[since yours isnt that scratched up]

Yea I still cant get slippery pole for the life of me even though Ive done it 20 times. No I havent tried it on their xboxs.

Okay, it seems that the problem resolved itself, after one last uninstall, re-install, etc., but for some reason i noticed it said DVI+A when i had it connected to my HDMI input...that could of caused it. Oh well, i hope they fix up CC now, so that it's not the same tank and witch spawning every time, and i can hopefully one day get 20 car and slippery pull as well.
