for the sake of replayability
Please valve, will you do something about these invisible barriers in L4D 2. Please texture the ceilings instead of walling them off. You could use the same texture for all I care, just add more places for the human controlled special infected to be able to go. It's gotten to the point when playing versus or scavengel a team will walk out of the saferoom and know one of two places your going to spawn as the boomer or spitter. These walls also render hunters pretty much useless. Why give pounce damage if there is no creative places to actually use it? In all honesty I find this game to be incredibly fun and addictive, but these invisible walls that say "do not cross" just feel.... lazy and unfinished. So I am begging you valve, please get rid of these walls to add longevity to this game.

I have to agree about the invisable walls. They made Crash Course not worth what I paid on it.

I payed around $12 Australian for it. Overpriced, but I enjoyed it and I'm continuing to enjoy it. It was the cost of a movie ticket and it's still giving hours upon hours of fun. I don't feel it is as bad as you say, then again I'm not one of those people who thinks like a zombie Magyver and will use every square inch of ground available, however from what I've seen there are a few (Barely any though) who do. I will admit though it was a bit mood breaking when over some fences there was nothing but a road and a sign that seemed to say "lolturnarounddumbass", Really immersion breaking when you think "If these retards knew how to climb a fence they'd be safe by now".
Because I'm still fixing playing issues I have yet to seriously play scavenge on L4D2 properly, however this issue exists with L4D and L4D2 on all maps, there are obvious choke points and people will do what they can to work around that because they know where the Boomer player must spawn for the best result. Although L4D2 has less of the annoying choke points that mean instant-death for survivors, which is a big improvement.
