Veteran's Day

Today, November 11, is Veteran's Day. Thankyou to all our veterans who served this great country of ours. If you know a veteran, thank them. They serve and protect us. Remember them, mourn them, celebrate them: they serve us every day of the year, some are serving for an eternity, so let's serve them for one day of the year. Here is a great movie for Veteran's Day: Letters From War Once again veterans, thankyou for all that you have done for our country, I remember.

Also thank you to all the soldiers who have tried to serve the entire world in making it a better place, thank you for your sacrifices and the sacrifices of those who are no longer with us. It is you who keep us safe.

There is no way enough thank yous can be said for the truest 1337 pwnzers of all, the men and women of the US armed forces. If you have previously served, or are currently serving, in any branch of the military I take my hat off and salute you. I truly appreciate all of the sacrifices you continue to make for all of us, especially considering the many that do not appreciate you and what you do.

Right before I even delve into this I would just like to point out that pub groups are the worst idea in the world!

I was having a wonderful day and thought to myself, "you know what would make this better? L4D2 VS!" Hell yeah, so I went on straight away and found myself starting a game on DC1. We were to play as survivors first.

I noticed that all of the other 3 on my team picked up melee weapons, so i grabbed 2 handguns, just so if a pesky boomer/smoker/spitter showed up i could shoot them down before they reached us.

One of the guys started having a go at me saying, and I shit you not, "You n00b, pick up axe!" I explained my reasoning behind the guns and suddenly a vote kick directed at me came up along with the comment "Get rid of this guy, <insert 12 year olds fave insults here>!!" And with that I found myself looking at the menu screen, feeling irrate, bitter and slightly confused about the whole thing.

RANT END, dunno if you guys have ever had a similar experience but if you have please share, so I know I'm not the only one enduring wazzocks like them!!!!!!
