35 feet, single shots no question. Dig the title, but hitting a target at 35 feet with a mozambique isn't likely.

single shots (unless using lmg) and just empty the clip into em( just to make sure there dead)

really depends, 3 rounds at a decent range, but there is a point where they are close enough that spraying is called for..

Depends on what I'm using. I don't do the same for each gun. If it's the Lambert, I might just go full auto since it's pretty fast and accurate, Baur/Voss, I might be doing short bursts or single shots, if I'm an engineer, full auto or bursts. Also depends on if I have cover or not. Lots of "ifs" still I'd say, but that's it for the most part.

for the sake of argument you are in the wastelands there is nothing for miles and you pod in, enemy 35 feet away.You both notice eachother at the same time. is a slight breeze. a tumbleweed passes between you. you have your favorite kit. the clock tower tolls high noon. GO!

I dive to my right, roll off my left shoulder, draw my trusty pistola as I come up to a solid kneeling position to fire from and BLAM BLAM BLAM!!!

Then I blow the smoke coming out of the barrel, twirl the gun three times (as to show I am a pimp, but not to show off as) and jam it home as I stand up and look around for my APC.
