Map Rotation

Been browsing the forums, but I cannot seem to find the servers map rotation for BF2 server and the special forces. I know it shows it ingame, but not the best. Anyone help me out ? Thanks.

If not, you can always look at the left of the screen and connect using the IP listed. That's how I do it.

I don't think he was asking for how to connect Ranger.

Are you asking for the order or just what maps are on the servers?

I do no know the order but I know vanilla has all the maps starting with Oman. Since I have yet to grace the SF server I cannot say what maps are found there however I assume they are all in the lineup as well.

Im looking for the map rotation list.
IE.
Server restarts
Starting Map Gulf of oman 2 rounds
next map is sharqi penninsula 2 rounds
next map is daqing oilfields 2 rounds ..

ect..

Yeah that is what I thought, to be honest I have not paid enough attention to the rotation just know that Oman is first.

really? I seeing as I don't pay that much attention that doesn't surprise me. Though why is Oman first always?(for that last month or so) Or am I still that oblivious and it really isn't?

Oops... I misunderstood your question.

All maps are subject to be rotated with a few exceptions. Oman is a good start map, and most people like playing it. So it stays at the top. We do rotate the remaining maps because it sorta breaks up the monotony that can sometimes occur if the line-up stays the same.

I do know that if you ever want to know what map is next during the game, or what the line-up is in general, simply initiate a map vote. But before you select the map you want to vote for, look at the list. That list matches the rotation.
