Re: PR and listening
an indicator would be helpful
i would also like to talk to people in my area that arent in my squad. im think of seperate buttons for your radio and talking to the guy standing next to me. they would put a limit on it so you could only talk to someone within 5m or something.
as it is now its very difficult to coordinate with blue teammates. i suppose i could up channel to my squadleader who would ask the COMM who would then ask all the squad leaders and then the one squad leader might realize whats going on and then he would tell his entire squad that someone should cover that door while gundoo covers the other door. its obviously easier to type it out but ive noticed people dont always notice every line of the text. i want to hold 'h' and say, 'hey dude, get that door, ill get this one.' and he'd hold 'h' and be like, 'werd'.
i suppose this is impossible in bf2 but i still dream.

Re: PR and listening
I could not agree with you you more JBM, PR is much more complicated and real then the name, "Project Reality" even suggests. As far as the VOIP goes, I have played a game that allows you to hear enemy VOIP.. I think that this would have been a sweet added feature. Make it as real as possible right?

Re: PR and listening
it would be interesting if they added inter squad leader voip...but that would make it so hard to tell who was saying what as a squad leader (between the commander, his squad mates, and the other squad leaders)
Its a little old school, and i don't know if they use them anymore, but some kind of radio man would be neat as well...maybe it would allow you to tune to certain frequencies? Like a command channel, a squad channel, etc.
