Just wanted to mention that I was not meaning to TK you with the nade earlier tonight. I wish you hadn't punished but it happens I guesss. I was tossing a nade into an alcove near church where I had just gotten ambushed. When I ran back to the alcove, I still saw the red dot from the hostile, It hadn't faded yet so I thought he was still there. Sorry that you got caught in the blast radius. I tried typing to you in game, but I guess you didn't see the messages.

Anyways, good games, didn't mean to TK you, game with you later.

Heh no problem man, happens all the time. I didn't know I punished you, I usually forgive. Maybe I was pissed cause I was tk'ed a lot tonight. My own dudes would come around corners and unload their whole clip into me and stuff. Maybe people hate me I dunno =)

Atleast you got punished for accidently nading a teammate, I got punished tonight because a guy ran in front of my FAV. He wasn't trying to get in. He just ran in front of it.

Aww, you guys are lucky, these red guys keep running right in front of my bullets. Thank goodness they dont punish

NP Penny - I got aggravated too when I got punished - cause that was the second time that night (not round getting punished). Similar situation that Rust mentioned - I was firing across a street and someone ran by in front of me and dwent down like a sack of potatoes screaming about TKing - I think that if one does not want to get shot, one should not step into the line of fire....but then again that is too much like right.

I got punished last night by the guy that refuses to heed all warnings to not stand at the entrance to a console corridor.

Literally 10 people rushed our defenses. I fired a full clip of rockets and tossed all my nades. Guess who was the first to die.

Punished of course

I just laugh.

Friendlies unloading clips into friendlies has been happening a lot lately. I haven't been tk'd by it yet, but a few of them have been close.

And you think that's bad Rusty, then listen to this: I was driving a FAV with one passenger when the commander points out a hostile at the silo we just left. So I kick it in reverse because I'm literally only about 70 meters off and it was too narrow to turn around. About half way there, driving in reverse, the guy that was with me jumped out of the FAV and promptly punishes me for running his ass over. I mean, wtf, he was in my blind spot. Seriously though, what did he expect? You jump out of a moving FAV and you usually end up behind it. FAV moving in reverse + jumping out = BAD!!!

We really need a "kiss and make up" sticky or something considering how often people post apologies. And we need another sticky to vent about the moronic TK punishes we've been given.

Are there actually any negative long term consequences of getting punished? If i get punished I'm just like oh well whatever I was a dumbass or he was a dumbass but you guys seem to take it a lot more seriously

I honestly don't know pennyflame. I'm guessing enough tk punishes in one round would server up an automatic temporary TK ban? Just guessing its never happend to me or anyone that I know, and the TTP admins do such a good job of handling those intentional tk'ers that it doesn't get to that point. But its a good question I hope someone knows more than I do.

On another note, I never click a key for punish or not punish, unless it was intentional. Since the default is set to be a 'forgive' vote if you take no action, I just let it do that because I few times I wanted to forgive but got all butterfingers and pressed punish by accident.
