Hatchimoto races are a lot of fun. There's a couple different mods out there for racing. If memory serves, one for the 3-man jeeps and one for Hachimotos.

I really love this idea, could we make a post in practice server? Get this thing going set up the basic rules and the track set. I think this would be a lot of fun!

Well the pratice server is down right now so lets wait until we can do an actual map then Ill post something up for this.

So once the server gets back up we can do it.

Maybe we could have some people watching the racing do some commentating. We could have commanders fly as passengers in attack helis doing this.
Teams could form their own squads.
-A driver
-An engineer in the back seat
-Squad Leader in the passenger seat to give move orders so the driver knows where to go
-The other squad members could bring up extra jeeps in case a jeep gets flipped sort of like a pit crew. They could have it pre-equiped with vehicle and infantry sonar.

Ive been thinking about this for awhile and thought up how it might go.

How the "track" will be set up:
2 none FAV vehicles makeing a "checkpoint" that a car must pass through 2 continue on. You will know the shape of the track it will be circular with a few "bumps" thrown in. we will start out on the right side of the track and first turn will be to the left. You will see the starting point it will be wide and filled with FAV's.

Rules:
- 2 man vehicles
- kits must be 1 support 1 engineer
- unlocks that can be used are:
emp mines, pilum, emp gernade, repair, vehicle sonar, RDX shotgun.
-it does not matter who sits in the back and who sits in the front.
-turret(F2) cannot be used
- because we have only 2 teams and more than 2 people who want to race, we will vote on either 2 man race tornament or everyone goes at once for 3 rounds and you must "spin out" or let off the accelleration for 3 sec. if you hit a friendly emp mine.
- if you get killed you are disqualifed
- if you cheat you are disqualifed
- if the everyone goes for 3 round gets voted for, then if you hit an emp mine and do not let go of accelleration for 3 sec, you will be disquallifed.
- If you use anything other than the approved unlocks you are disqualifed.

The track briefing:
Before the race you will get a chance to check out the track and run through it. If you purposly blow up someone's car before the race you will be disqualifed. You will be given your car in the briefing, keep it alive, if you don't you have to go find another one, dieing does not matter so try and save your car, quickly get out and repair it.

The amount of people allowed in the match:
Will be determined once I find out how many FAV's there are in the map.

I've been waiting for a day when we could just mess around monthly, or weekly, or daily even. The idea is awesome, we just need the server to do it.

Everything I thought of was said in this thread, except that we could have "film crews" flying alongside in air transports FRAPS'ing the races or something along those lines.
