The one shot kill can come when the tank you are fighting has made a shot at you and is trying to reload...you have to be patient with that shot...and it has to be perfect...but it can be done. How is it done??.....hmmmmmm....not going to give that away just yet....the old timers probably already know. It is also possible to kill a tank with another tank with 2 shots and probably from AT as well. How?...again....not ready to give that away either....but I will tell you it is all about location...locatoin...location...
Way to teamplay man! Someday, perhaps I will be operating a tank against an enemy tank that is threatening your position as a medic and those tricks could help your team eh?

In any case, the tank has 20 bars of health. a direct hit on the track does 10; so two hits directly to the tracks with AT takes it down. Also, you can one hit a tank by guiding your rocket underneath it and lifting up at the last moment so your rocket connects with it's belly; a hard shot indeed.

Question:Different Kits or same Kit always

Re: Question:Different Kits or same Kit always

For the one-shot tank-to-tank kill, you have to place the round just barely on the armor above the treads so that it bounces off... straight back into the tank. It's like hitting the tank twice with the same round.

Any other secrets you were holding out on Maxox?

Yeah I saw that video on bf2s, but I thought they fixed it in one of the more recent patches. I have never gotten it to work...

I guess I need to try harder! I have got the one hit belly kill though...kel showed me that... it's really hard because you tend to hit the ground or the edge of the tank instead of gliding underneath it.

Come on jeep! What are your tank-killer secrets?

On the Abrams tank....on the right as you are looking at the tank...there is a square on the right top of the tank above the tracks. If you hit that square it propels the shell under the turret and causes a bouncing reaction that takes the tank out.

I was shown a slow motion video of this and then I did it in practice and then in actual combat. However....it is a tough shot...and I dont make a habit of the one shot tank kill...but it happens.

Medic or A/T. Depending on the situation.

Sometimes when I'm feeling naughty I grab a Sniper kit and break out my favorite toy. Look, Asianator's getting all excited.

Never heard or tried that one. I will have to check it out. The two that work best for me vrs the Abrams.

1# If you have a forward view and are elevated it is possible to skip a AT round off the main body and then hit the turret. It will count a one medium hit and one max damage hit but is not a one shot kill.

2# If either from the front or back you and get a corner angle you can get the rocket to nick the first tread then go under the tank and hit the inside of the opposite tread. This will count as two max damage hits BUT it will still leave the Abrams with about 2-3 bars left and about 10 seconds for the crew to get out. However most tanks have what I call minor driving damage or grenade damage in which case it makes it practically a one shot kill.
