Can Someone Explain the Extra Artty ?

I saw on Operation Clean Sweep, the US team get an extra artty piece. It seemed like they had to hold the opponents home base and then blow all the opponents artty. After the c-4 job, they repaired just the middle piece of the opponents arrty with a crate and it added to their fire power. Am I right about this? Can anyone tell me what other maps you can do this on?

absolute news to me... we may have to go on the practice server (when its up and test this) maybe a glitch, or exploit, or a hack. Sounds kinda odd for a hack though. If it works then it would definitely be an exploit.

I've heard of that before, once my squadleader told me to go blow up the arty after we capped the airfield, but to leave the middle one up. Can't remember who it was tho...

Something about when the US has the airfield they can use the middle one of the MEC arty. Maybe it is the same on Kubra?

After thinking a little more, I think it was Kelderos that told me this.

This used to be the case on Wake Island. Once the airfield was caught by the US one of the enemies artillery begame part of the US artillery. They must have fixed it cause I havent seen that happen in a long time.

sorry to go slightly OT here, but I was wondering how come on a lot of the maps (not sure if its all of them) the Arty repairs automatically after its been destroyed?

with regard to the original question I have never noticed.

It doesn't. There is either an engi there or the commander has dropped a supply crate on it to repair it.

ugh...maybe not....

I've also seen this on Kubra Dam. I was on US and we captured the airfield and I blew up the Scan & UAV trailers and Arty. Stayed there to fight and both the Trailers and Arty became active again after a VERY long time without being repaired or ammo crated. Also found out there was no commander on MEC side after the round was over.
