Lookin back and thinking "Oh Crap!"
I have only been on the the forums here for a couple of weeks now. I have been playing on the TTP BF2 Server for not much longer. I was looking through the forums and saw that a guy got banned for TKing another team member that was shooting at and killing members of his squad. I thought to myself...Holy Crap! I had actually had a similar experience in the game before I joined the TTP Forum. There was this player on my team that was just shooting at anything that moved. He was firing at and hitting me and my squad members so I jumped into a vehicle and ran him over. I just don't remember if it was on the TTP Server. If it was, and an admin was made aware, would they have banned me?

Re: Lookin back and thinking "Oh Crap!"
Most likely yes. You should never involve yourself in TKing even in defense from an asshat. What you can do is snap a screeny and post it in the BF2 Teamkiller complaint thread.
Also, type something like ****ADMIN**** Asshat007 is TKing on MEC airfield!
And he might magically dissappear.
But under no circumstances, should you ever return fire to TKer, that is a bannable offense for sure.

repeat too, cuz admins are playing the game too so the text scrolls quickly for them and they may miss it the first time.
and do not forget! TTP BF2 TK sticky, if you get TK'd by someone either on purpose or he is Forcing you to TK him IE jumps in front of jet or armor and then punishes you take a screenshot, Print Screen button or if you use XFire Scroll Lock + S

Welcome to the forum Boneyard!! Smart move making a post about team killing and getting things straightened out before you did something that would effect your playing on the server. Just from reading your post I think you will be a real asset to the community. Don't ever hesitate to ask questions, there is a great group of guys here that are ready, willing and able to lend a hand.
See you on the battlefield!
I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was!

im always doomed.
I rarely survive the finale. on any difficulty on any campaign, i am usually the poor unfortunate sod who gets incapped right as the rescue vehicle turns up due to the director cheating usually and everyone more or less goes "sucks to be you. like we're gonna save you now." and these are my friends...
doesnt bother me too much but its just getting a bit depressing that i havent survived the last 3-5 finales in a row now. its kinda ironic that i manage to help get us thru those really difficult sections on expert mode. in the stats at the end, im always the one who's taken considerably less damage than everyone else, died the least or joint least. saved the most people etc etc. and ironicly im the one who karks it >.< beginning to feel like sam pertwee now in all of his films. being kick ass all the way thru but never surviving any of them XD
sorry guys, been wanting to get that off my chest. dont usually care if i survive a finale or not but its just the fact that i rarely do for some benine reason T.T
