Thread: After midnight it turns into a pumpkin

I feel for you Charvel. That happens more often now with the server set for 64. I was on the other time with Mike in Tenrou's squad. It was pretty obvious that you guys were outgunned when large groups of your team would move to take a flag, only to get stomped on a minute later by one squad. We didn't even have to try hard. Like Mike said, run and shoot.

lol, yeah that's the way they were doing everything. For some reason you were like the only one in the squad that was at the flag and the rest of us were further back behind the buildings. I could see the large group running up to Monorail and I was like, "Mike there's a shitload of guys coming up behind you." Then I saw you round that corner and that was it. Taking it back didn't take much effort though.

That is one of the downsides of having a 64 player limit instead of 48. As most asshats look for high pop servers in which to twitch and hack their way to infamy, we will now pop up at the top of the list with the other popular 64 player servers. I personally prefer the subdued yet enthusiastic popularity we enjoyed with the regular crowd when we were 48 player. Ah well, whatcha gonna do. Knock heads and kick/ban until people start to tow the line...

Though I like large 64 games in conquest, the Titan games tend to be like butting your head against a brick wall. You work hard to get a silo and a wave of, as said before, asshats come running thru wipe you up and then run off...then you have to retake the silo (typ. not very difficult) only to have it happen again. Then when the Titan shields fall you face a titan with about...63... people on it defending so you have to wait and wait at the silos fending of that one lone guy flying the troop transport trying to recapture the silos while he is yelling at his squad, if he knows where his mic is, to "get down here and get these silos or we will loose!"

If a vote were taken right now I would vote for two Servers, 64 conquest server and a 48 Titan...IMHO.

Eh my squad was the shit. I had mike for a while which is good because he always kills me if he's not on my team. Then raven popped in later in the day, and a few 5Th buds came in to fill my squad void here and there. As always no night is complete without a few white-n-nerdy kills puts a smile on my face every night. Anyways I was probably one of like 8 people who wanted it to stay 48 because of the retards that come with having a 64 player server. Like it was always said it's been done, and all we can do is hope they have a short stay here at TTP.

28 unsquadded people at one time and not a safe place in our base to deal with anything because we were being raped. I think we finally got our team down to about 5 folks unsquadded because they were coming back faster than the admins could boot them.

It was pretty damn frustrating.

I don’t know if anyone here ever watches (or watched) the Red Vs. Blue Halo videos from Rooster Teeth but there was a few episode where Blood Gulch was “invaded” but a bunch of kid noobs that ran around shooting themselves and other while yelling “Woo Hoo!” and “Noob!” There are times when I get that feeling in 64.
