Thread: If admins identities are kept secret, how come i know how they're admins...

admins say wierd stuff like:

Rule 1: You Dont talk about admin club.
Rule 2: You dont talk about admin club.
Rule 3: You dont talk about admin club.

You know they do that because that's how they have to do it.

But do not call out someone as admin, either on here or especially in game. Or it will end poorly for you. Not a threat; a simple fact.

Well most regulars know who the admins are and its their job to keep it secret so the asshats out there wont know there is one on and will think they can get away with things. As a regular it is your job to make sure things are going well without admin help, and then if things go beyond your control is when you should ask for an admin to help you.

have any of you tried to type one of those admin commands, (non-admins) would it work?

No it would not work. Listen to what Ben and Frag said and you'll do fine.

yes and no. In a different server (a knife server i belive) i saw some admins doing that and i tryed it myself, it didnt work, and dont believe i had tryed it at all on TTP. The commands only work for admins and im sure there is something special they have to do other than type in some of their name.

And if you try it you might be banned for impersonating an admin.

It would not work, and you would probably get in trouble for it. Don't try.

It's pretty much a privilege to know who the admins are. However if we find you abusing that privilege then you will be banned for it, no matter if it be you telling other people who the admins are or calling a certain admin out for it.
