    Left 4 Dead 3: Ideas, Survivors, Campagin & Weapons

    My ideas for L4D3 was to kinda go back to the first L4D have an eerie scene kinda like a city about to go to ruins. The theme music should be the original just modified & not like L4D2. Don't get me wrong the Southern Jazz theme went well with L4D2 but it didnt have that Valve tone like the first. I dont know where the first one took place but i have some ideas for the next zombie apocalypse to take place. L4D took place 2 weeks after the first infection. Im not sure about L4D2 but i wanted L4D3 to take 4 weeks after the first infection.

    My characters or survivor ideas i came up with now will go well with a DC Campagin. I tried to do New York but failed. I'm also trying Colorado, California & Vegas but those with be out when i have time.

    Age: 38
    Bio: Trusting & having a big heart made Marcus the man that he is. Retired from the police force Marcus tries to settle in & make a difference. Seeking out for his new way of living landed Marcus working as a security guard. With the infection spreading Marcus sees himself back on the streets serving justice. Now finding himself with the biggest challange of all to survive & praying he makes it out of this zombie outbreak alive.

    Race: Caucasian
    Age: 35
    Bio: A mystery man & very secretive, Royce made a living killing. Being a former Spec Ops & Special Force member, Royce sold his service & skills to the highest bidder. Breaking off with all his connections put a price out on his name. Living in the shadows & trying every dead-end job there is never seemed to forget his past. With the zombie outbreak happing Royce knew the infection will never end. Now sobbering up, Royce becomes the soldier he tried to forget & makes this his last job.

    Race: Latino
    Age: 30
    Bio: A handy man & hard worker, Dominic always sloves his problems one way or another. Growing up in a country torn by cival wars, Dominic leaves & heads to America leaving his past behind him. Starting a new life & living it to the end is Doninics set goal. With the infection outbreak Dominic wont let himself give up that easy solving this problem one way or the other. Escaping & surviving will be his biggest & last problem solver of his life.

    Race: Asian
    Age: 25
    Bio: Short, smart & keen, Jade spent her day playing video games & hacking software. Always getting thrills off of being bad & playing pranks around the city makes Jade's day. Always spending time on her computer than outside Jade never seemed to care much about the world. Hearing about the outbreak of zombies made Jade think she's playing one big game with death. Video games & using replicate weapons finally payed off in Jade's mind when she went on a zombie killing spree. Now survival & having fun one last time is all Jade thinks about in the zombie apocalypse.

    These are the characters i think would be great. They all have unique backgrounds. Just like L4D & L4D2 Thier abilities & speed are the same but the dialog will vary when playing as any of them. I wanted Marcus & Royce's characters to fight over who should be leader & which way to go. The campagin ill continue soon but i wanted my campagins to be original but have a bit of difference & keep with the L4D style. So far these are my survivor ideas for a DC L4D theme.

    Here are some Special Infected (SI) & Uncommon Common Infected (UCI) ideas i thought might work. I felt that adding more SI would be to much. I had this idea that maybe instead of adding more they should mutate & upgrade the SI from both L4Ds. The Hunter, Smoker, Boomer, Jockey, Spitter, Charger, Witch & Tank should have two forms an origianl & mutated. If a common infected was to mutate into a SI, than what would a SI mutate into?

    UCI: I think keeping the Hazmat Suit & Riot Gear will work. I think adding a Military, Secret Service, Fallen Survivor, Prisoners & Secretaries & Politictions. The Military will have a Bullet Proof Vest that covers front & back & a Helmat. His face arms & legs are unprotected. The Secret Service fill be Dressed Up zombies like the Secetaries & Politictions. The Prisoners will be at the Prison Campagin & the Fallen Survivor will show up here & there.

    The Hunter: This one could fit with one SI someone pitched called the Stalker. I also thought the Creeper could work too. His form would grow another set of arms making him look like a spider. Having 4 arms should give him the advantage of climbing up walls & ceilings. He'll still pounce but holding you down with one set of arms & the other clawing at you would be effective.

    The Smoker: I think the Choker, the Grimmer & the Bugger would work. I thought instead of green smoke coming out of him they'll be fly's & black smoke. His ability to snatch survivors with his tounge should't changed, binding you to death when you get caught. I thought would be interesting & unique would be when he explodes. His black smoke would be toxic, sufficating you when you go through it. That should give players to wait or find another way around it. Unless you take a chance & run through you'll lose a bit of health as an effect.

    The Boomer: I put the Boomer together with a SI that never made L4D2, The Spiker. I thought the Nailer, the Grenadier & the Needler could work too. His form i thought would let him have spikes or Needles stiking out all over his body. His vomitting will be the same also shooting out bile when he explodes within range & attcact a horde when you get covered. With his mutation when he explodes the spikes will shoot out. Blind, losing some health & sitll attracting a horde should give players ways to avoid or kill him.

    The Jockey: I came up with the Wrench. His form would make him look between a monkey & a dog, a monkey-dog. Still being able to snatch the players, his form will drag them. Growing a tail he'll wrap it around your throat & drag you away from your team, running on all fours like a dog. Chuckling & laughing was the Jockey sign he's coming but his new form will have a hyena laugh mixed with a monkey. I Really have to give thanks to my GF she helped me with the idea.

    The Spitter: I came up with the Leecher. Like the Spitter she'll be able to shoot out goop of acid only its not acid this time. A black slime would come out & puddle. Her slime has Leeches & will take damage away like the Spitter but also slow your movement if spit on or walking through. Her apperance will look similar to the Spitter only she wont drowl she'll have leeches falling out of her.

    The Charger: I came up with the Slugger, the Chaser, the Bruiser & the Crusher. His mutation would make him look like a Rhino or Ram. His skull mutating & sticking out of his head making a horn shape would be effective & both his arms are the same size. His charge will be the same but using his head instead of his shoulder. Also instead of one hand slamming you he'll use both hands & slam you into the ground holding you down & punching you to death.

    The Witch: The Witch i put together with a SI that never made L4D2, The Screamer. I also came up with the Ghost, the Phantom or the Vamp. Her form will look like the Witch only wearing a straight jacket or a nightgown. When the Witch cries she warns you she's around but her new form will have an eerie little girl giggle & sit on the ground rocking back in forth like the Witch. When she's about to be disturb she'll start to giggle, than giggle demoically, than rise up slowly & when she gets disturbed she'll bust out laughing insane & demonically. If she was wearing the straight jacket she'll brake it open. So some similarites between the Witch & her new form but also some differences.

    The Tank: His new form would be called the Beserker, the Brute, the Titan or the Behemoth. His form will look like the original only not just his arms are huge but his entire body would look like he used steroids. I wanted him to be one huge mutated thing of muscles & vains popping out. The original usually waits for you to bump into him but i thought maybe his new form should hunt you down. When you run into him he'll let out a loud howel & roar. His speed & health are the same so he wont be impossible to kill. Like the original he'll pick up boulders & throw them at you & he'll still have the same swing attack but using both arms swinging at you. It'll still knocks you down & push objects out of his way. Also instead of using his arms to kill you when your down he'll stomp on you.

    All of the SI will have some similarities to the original. Their abilities, speed & health will remain the same just upgraded & the way they sound when searching for you & when they spot you sound different. I tried to make the mutated SI serve a purpose in the L4D world. Mutating them sounds like something that could happen. The AI in the game could mix up the SI between the original or mutated form. That should keep players working together & changing their tatics really fast. I want to give thanks to those who help me come up with most of these idea so thanks to you guys & i hope you enjoyed.

    Now Guns, Melee, Explosives, First Aid, Items, Upgrades, etc. Weapons & Items from L4D & L4D2 should be in L4D3. I may have forgotten or not mention some of the weapons but ill do my best naming them. Be aware that some of the weapons i mention are probably pitched & thought of by you but i want to say thanks to you guys because it helped me create a list of guns so i hope you enjoy.

    Sidearms: These are some handguns i feel like it works.
    - M9 FS
    - HK MK 23
    - USP 45
    - Five-Seven
    - Glock 17
    The Glock 17 is police issued also the Beretta M9 but the M9 is also Military issued. The other are military issued so i thought they be scavenged by the survivors.

    Mahcine Pistols: I wasn't to sure to add these but i decided to add them anyway. These guns will have the same fire power as the handguns just shoting faster. It be like shooting two handguns. Here are the guns:
    - TMP
    - M93 Raffica
    - Glock 18
    - Mini Uzi
    These will be the other side arms to choose from & just like the Magnum you can't go Akimbo. Now you have to choose between Handguns, a Magnum or a Machine Pistol.

    Magnums: Desert Eagle stays but here are some that might work:
    - .357 Magnum
    - .38 Special
    - .45 Magnum
    The .357 & .38 where thoughts when i watched Dawn of The Dead (The remake not the original). They both have a sensitive kick compared to a .44 & .500 (Refering to a Smith & Wesson M500) The .45 Magnum maybe kinda pointless seeing that L4D used standard .45's.

    SMGs: The Uzi & Mac 11 are good but i thought they should add these:
    - MP5
    - P90
    - HK MP5K
    - TDI Vector
    - MP9
    - HK MP7A1
    - UMP 5
    These are what the SWAT & Military use in some cases & seening a zombie outbreak they would be called out so i thought it fits in. If they put two more in than one of these should have a silencer like the Mac 11.

    Shotguns: The Standard & Chrome shotgun work but maybe these could to:
    - Double Barrel
    - 1887 Lever Action (Seen in Terminator 2 & Modern Warfare 2)
    - Pistol Grip Security Shotgun
    - Riot Shotgun
    - Sawed-Off
    Not sure if they'll add these but it would be interesting. The Riot Shotgun is all black & has a flashlight already equip in the pump. The Sawed-off i thought could be a Browning Cynergy Shotgun. The shoulder stock sawed-off leaving the grip wrapped up with tape & bandages or a fabric.

    Assualt Rifles: AK-47, M16, SCAR & M-60 really gives the players a choose but maybe these would be nice to be in to:
    - M4
    - ACR
    - HK G36C
    - HK XM8
    - M49 SAW
    - HK 416
    - SIG 552 Commando
    - M468
    The M4 is smaller than a M16 & would be neat. The G36C would be an imported Rifle from the military. The M49 SAW im still thinking to be reloadable or one use only like the M-60 but i feel like these could work. Also i just added a few more hope you check them out & see what you think.

    Auto Shotguns: The M1014 & SPAS12 was cool & i enjoyed them but they didnt add my favorite. I also found another one check it out.
    - AA-12
    - USAS Auto
    - Striker
    - Hawk Semi-Automatic
    The AA-12 is deadly & military issued so i thought it could work. The USAS Auto has an Assualt Rifle frame & it looks really cool im pretty sure its also military issued as well if not than it will be an import. Its the same with the Striker & Hawk Semi-Automatic those will be imported guns.

    Sniper Rifles: The Hunting Rifle & FAL Carbine Scoped are really nice but i thought maybe these would work as well.
    - M110
    - SVD (Dragunov)
    - PSG-1
    - Barrett .50 Caliber
    All of these ar military issued besides the SVD that will be an import. The .50 Cal i think fits best as a special something you can use once. It only has 10 rounds so make them count.

    Special: These are the use once type of guns like the M7 Grenade Launcher here are some that would be interesting & fun to use.
    - M32 Grenade Launcher
    - M-60
    - AA-12
    - Barrett .50 Caliber
    - Flamethrower
    - Semi-Auto Crossbow Scoped
    - Minigun
    Some of these may never be in but i thought they would be something imteresting to use. Some of these i may have mentioned but these are the ones that have a certian amount of ammo you can use.

    Melee: The Crowbar, Machete, Chainsaw, Guitar, Axe, Sword & Bat will stay but not the Paddle Bat & maybe the Frying Pan but i think these would be better replacements or improvments.
    - Shovel
    - Sledge Hammer
    - Lead Pipe
    - Hatchet
    - Meat Cleaver
    - Metal Bat
    - Nailed Bat
    - Bass Guitar
    - Nail Gun
    - Electric Hand Saw
    - Bayonet
    The Metal Bat will replace the Paddle Bat & the Nailed Bat will be an improvment. The Meat Cleaver will either replace or be an improvement with the Frying Pan. I felt it was weird because it wouldnt have any effect in real life but i know its for a Comedic role so i might say keep it. The Sword i wanted to be like a Knights Sword & maybe keep the Katana as well. The Sledge Hammer & Shovel could work as well. Maybe a Hand Saw or a Nail Gun can be added. Like the Chainsaw it had a limit use.

    Throwing: Pipe Bombs, Molotovs & Boomer Biles stay but maybe these could work.
    - Satchel Charges
    - Flares
    - Throwing Knife
    The Satchel Charge would look homemade like the Pipe Bomb. It can be thrown sticking onto objects or on zombies. You could even stick one on the Tank. Of course it will be detonated by you with a remote. The Flares i thought would work lighting up dark areas. It will hold a horde off for a brief momment but they'll run around to get to you. Throw one at a zombie will light him up. The Throwing Knife i thought maybe be the only throwning weapon you retreave after its been thrown. Sticking out of a zombie would look interesting but it can also cutting the Smokers tounge. I didnt mention a Frag Grenade, Flash Bomb, Smoke Grenade or Tear Gas was because it's pointless. The Pipe Bomb was the purpose of a Frag. If you threw a Frag it wouldnt attract a horde they run pass it. I know it would be stronger but it wouldnt work. The Flash I thought could work but it would be the one thing you could use to beat an entire campagin on expert & not have a challenge. The Smoke or Tear Gas seemed ok but seeing that an infected can run through the Smokers smoke or pretty much anything to get to you would seem a waste. Those are just my thoughts on that.

    Explosives: The Gas Tank & Propaine Tank are staying. I thought maybe the Fire Extinguisher would be used to.

    First Aid: The Med Packs always stays. The Defibulater should stay. The Pills & The Shots are helpful to. These might work in the new one:
    - Stimulant Drink
    - First Aid Spray
    The Stimulant Drink would be like the Pills & Shot giving you a momment of health not sure if it should have any effect like the shot & how much health it gives you. The First Aid Spray i thought can be used to heal yourself up like Liquid Bandage Spray. How much health it gives you maybe minor since the Spray covers minor cuts.

    Ammo Packs: The Flame Rounds & Frag Rounds really helped. I heard someone wanted to add Traces but i think Hollow Points would work best. It will allow you to shoot through 3 zombies. With Rifles Snipers SMGs you'll have Hollow Points & with shotguns you'll get Slugs.

    Laser Sights: This one stays but not sure what else could be added. Maybe just leaving the Laser sights.

    Again some of these may sound pointless but it would be interesting & give players more of a choice when picking out a weapon. Also giving players to even out the weapon choice & testing out all the variaties of new weapons & see what the damage it can causes. I hope you enjoyed & these's always gonna be more to come.

    I finally figured out how the DC Campagin will go. You'll Start at Pittsburgh than make your way towards Philadelphia than Maryland & than Washington DC. You'll go into some of the memorial sites in DC but others you'll walk by. Also i thought of going to CEDA's headquarters. I think that would be interesting maybe see what they where up to. The Campagin name i came up with there's 5 Campagin here they are:

    - Red Dawn
    - Locked Down
    - Pitch Black
    - Case Zero
    - Last Stand

    I'll go into detail later but this is my DC Campagin. I really hoped you enjoy my ideas. By viewing your supporting me so thanks to you guys & the Left 4 Dead Community. Because of you guys the next L4D will always have many possiblities.

    Your GF had an excellent Idea for the Jockey. You should mod it to be the Sumatran Rat-Monkey from the movie 'Brain Dead'.

    Here's my idea for the opening for L4D3:

    It begins showing a tv store showing an emergency broadcast & showing live coverage on the streets. They talk about a group of people rioting in the streets & say the military & police are keeping it under control but soon they get attack themselves. It goes black & say 2 weeks after the first infection. 4 people walk down a street toward a Sporting Goods Store in the Shopping Plaza scavenging for supplies, weapons & new clothes. They talk & decide to search for rescue & kill anything in their way. Than it does a timelaps of the 4 killing zombies & special infected & uncommon common infected like in L4D2. They reach to a safe house & can't believe waht they saw than it goes to 4 weeks after the first infection. The 4 are in a building filled with supplies & agree to head to DC for safety so they load up on supplies & ammunition than exit out. It'll do another L4D2 timelaps of the 4 killing zombies, showingmore campagin sceenshots & introducing the mutated special infected. Than it goes to the 4 surrounded by a horde not sure what to do & they see something big coming at them. Thinking its a Tank coming they wait for it to get closer untill they get a closer look at it & see its bigger tossing cars aside & killing most of the horde. The 4 decide to run from the mutated Tank & come up with a plan. They see a building thats a military outpost & 1 yells get your ass inside. The deformed Tank grabs a rock & throws it just making it inside the rock blocks up the front door. Heading up toward the roof they stop & talk about the world going to hell & decide not to run but to fight. Than it does one last timelaps of the Campagins & the 4 killing more zombies & deformed special infected & working together. As the timelaps is going on 1 survivoe talks about killing all the zombies & show the 4 loading up on powerful weapons. Than they open up one of the doors that leads outside & see a few zombies & the mutated Tank standing in front of them & than the title comes up.

    Thats how i see L4D3 opening i thought adding a few ideas from the first & second would look interesting for an opeing. I hope you like it i might change a few things though.

    Right now im gonna give you the features for a visual aspect of the survivors. They have two sets of Clothes the 2nd Week of the infection & the 4th week of the infection which is the time you'll be playing in.

    Marcus: Marcus is wearing his Security Outfit in the 2nd week which is:
    - Black Shoes
    - Black Pants
    - Security Shirt
    - Security Jacket
    When he changes at the Sporting Goods Store he changes to a Tatical Outfit which is:
    - Black Tatical Boots
    - Black Tatical Pants
    - Black Tank Top w/ Black Heavy Tatical Vest
    - Black Dew Rag
    - 2 Large Packs on his belt
    This is also what Marcus wears on the 4th week into the infection & when you play as him. It will be a little tattered.

    Royce: The 2nd week of the infection Royce is wearing a Casual Outfit which is:
    - Old Black Boots
    - Blue Jeans
    - Blue T-shirt w/ Dog Tags
    On the 4th week Royce changes into a Mercinary Outfit at the Sporting Goods Store which is:
    - Light Brown/Green Hiking Boots
    - Beige Cargo Pants
    - Green/Black Tatical T-Shirt w/ Dog Tags
    - Black Fingerless Leather Gloves
    - 3 Medium Packs on his Belt.
    This is what Royce will be wearing when you play as him. Also it will look kinda tattered

    Dom: The 2nd week Dominic or (Dom) is wearing his Carpenter Outfit which is:
    - Brown Construction Boots
    - Blue Jeans
    - Long Sleeved Thermal Shirt w/ Sleeves Rolled-Up
    - Short Sleeved Shirt
    Dom changes into his Rebel Outfit on the 4th week in the infection at the Sporting Goods Store which is:
    - Black Tatical Boots
    - Beige Tatical Pants
    - Dark Red T-Shirt w/ Brown Leather Survival Vest
    - Red Bandanna
    - 2 Medium packs w/ 1 Small Packs on his Belt.
    This to will be his outfit when you play as him. Also it will be tattered up just a bit.

    Jade: The 2nd week of the infection Jade is wearing her Casual Outfit which is:
    - Black Shoes
    - Dark Blue Jeans
    - Long Sleeved Shirt w/ Sleeves Rolled-Up
    - Eye Glasses
    During the 4th week in the infection Jade changes into a Specialist Outfit which is:
    - Black Tatical Boots
    - Beige Tatical Pants
    - Black Tank Top
    - Blue Tatical Sweater w/ Sleeves Rolled-Up
    - Black Fingerless Leather Gloves
    - Eye Glasses
    - Blue Cap w/ Ponytail Pulled-Out The Back
    - 4 Small Packs on her belt.
    This is what Jade wears when you play as her. Being a little tattered up will add to the detail.

    I know it might seem weird for all the surviovrs to have Tatical Outfits of some sort but i thought it made sense because than we see where they keep their ammunition. I wanted something new with the survivors attire. Also 2 weeks after the first infection their old clothes are tattered up thats why they changed their clothes & changed to something more durable & light. This is the best way to make a visual aspect of my survivors. I hope you like it.

    Well, all the other survivors are wearing tactical outifts. So Gabe, wishing for life the way it was before, just picks out a long sleve brown leather jacket, white tee-shirt, and blue jeans.
