Personally, the AK47 for me, i don't care, if i have a SCAR or M16 and i come across an AK, i'm taking it.

The AK has HUGE damage, but awful aiming.
The M-16 has less damage but great aiming.
The SCAR has a mix of both, but awful reload times.

Made this because someone suggested adding the SCAR into the mix.

I like the M16 in two, purely because of its reference to L4D1. The aiming on the M16 isn't much better than the AK, and is offset by the AK's massive damage anyway.

The assault rifle from 007 Nightfire (PS2 - going back a bit here!) was quite well thought out as well, and was based on an M16 or similar design. You could get it without or with a scope, in burst or full automatic mode. It was essentially two different weapons - a tactical weapon for covert situations and an offensive "kill em all" weapon for hostile situations.

Have to agree with Kagato.

AK47 has the highest damage, and is the most accurate. It's also the most ammo efficient due to it's high burst damage.

Don't think even you know how to use a SCAR. I have sniped a Smoker from so far away that not even the people in my group wielding an AK can't shoot

But i'm also split, M-16 in The Passing in memory of Bill, everywhere else i'll settle with a SCAR or M-16 till i find an AK.

AK47 is amazing, wouldn't say its really inaccurate.

In the game, the AK is the superior choice of the three.

If you are a trigger-happy style shooter where you "tape down the trigger" then the AK is not for you.

AK is powerful but not very accurate.

I choose the SCAR because of the three burst shot and high accuracy.

The M-16 is pretty close as well, I also use it as a burst fire weapon.
