Thread: PR BOOT CAMP: TRAINING FROM STEP ONE

Tired of being pwned by experienced players or just don't know how things run on PR. Well, I am offering training for PR players. We will start from step one, then continue on from there. I will only take up to 6 players at a time. If there is anymore players then i will do sessions, most likely every 2 hours. The following will be the details:

Kashan Desert(64)-on a deserted server(will post when i find one)

Only 1 squad, for communication purposes

I will be commander later on in the session

I need volentears to be on the enemy team so we can do target practice (and a little scrimmage at the end of the session if we have time)

The date will be Feb. 1-3 10am-6pm (PST) - 2 hr sessions

On a deserted server huh, why not just set up the match server.

well, i don't have the money for a server. and i can't make my own comp a server either. Lets just see how it goes.

What Axe means is that TTP has a dedicated match PR server which can also be used for training / bootcamps etc as well. You would just need to coordinate with an admin

Let's see if this drums up a lot of interest..... If this would be the case, you could request to reserve the Match server, no problem there. We use our match servers for Matches and pratices and stuff alike, which is why you would need to schedule it in.

If there is enouph interest in this, we will stick it.

I'm up for it, PR Boot Camp sounds like a hella good idea!

haveing 2 or even 3 differnt stages

stage 1: basic (this is how you put your helmet on soilder!!!)

stage 2: advanced infantry (alot of people, ok about everyone needs this)
sqaud movement (overlook, frogleap, rollouts, fireteam cordination, list goes on.....)

stage 3: could be transports, tanks, attck choppers and planes ( so haveing a commander to call out the targets and work with the SOFLAM)




i think this is a great idea, one gets people knowledgeable, two it can bring people closer together, working better......

i have played with some of my friends on vanilla, (me being the chef, lol, 1 ranger 2marines 2 army, in real life) we rolll everymap, dieing maybe 2 times a map at the most, resoan was they had the information, but we had the comunication, and we were all friends we knew everyones name and fire team...

MaddLagger, i like that idea. but im thinking of 4 stages.
1. basic
2. adv inf
3. ground vhicles and armor
4 air vhicles for whoever wants to fly.

Thx for the idea of a match server. I already have a couple of my friends joining pr and ttp. they said they loved bf2 and i know they will love pr even more.

Lets just wait and see who will be wanting the help and go from there, i will set up everything after the MM. so we have a week or so to set it up.

I will gladly dedicate some time to help/participate in this event. :9
