instructor_lessons.txt script problem since update
Ever since the update, I am no longer able to play L4D1 online (SP mode is ok). Each time the map loads, the server kicks me off with this error alert:
Server is enforcing consistancy for this file scripts/instructor_lessons.txt
All I can think of is that maybe I should never have used the console command "gameinstructor_reset_counts" for the advice nodes. These are the instuctions that appear when you first played the game. I did it because a community made campaign, I hate mountains, suggested doing so as it has its own custom made advice nodes. I tried disabling the game instructor but that has not helped either.
Any ideas how to fix this issue?

I have EXACTLY the same problem and it's a pain in the butt. So what do we do now? I deleted the game and reinstalled from the Toronto, Canada server with the same result. I live in Arizona. I just deleted the game AGAIN and now downloading from the San Diego server. Hey, all I want to do is play the game. Is there any way to download it WITHOUT the damned DLC? I'm reading all kinds of complaints about this DLC screwing the game up in the Steam forum.

I think I got the solution for you. A player named zlo in the l4d game lobby turned me on to this. I owe him my soul. If I don't get my daily fix of l4d I have to dose up on Zoloft.
Disable all your 3rd party add on campaigns. One of 'em has GOT to be screwin' with this DLC.
