Vista and PR Question?

My Brother called me up asking me after trying to download PR. He got it all downloaded and installed and went to go in game and imediately got kicked for needing punkbuster updated. He manually updated it and then still got kicked for the same thing. Is there known problems like this with PR and Vista? Any help I could pass on to him would be very helpful. Thanks

Make sure he has the game set to run with Administrator Privileges or it will cause this issue.

Tonight I decided to play L4D in its entirety plus both DLC's. All was good, no problems, but on Crash Course I encountered a weird glitch/bug/fuck up. Apologies if this has been posted before.

I was on single player, normal, and all characters were alive with much health to spare. As the vehicle lowered, suddenly Bill and Zoey 'died'. No reason, they went down to zero health, hit the floor, bounced up, dropped their med kits, like some kind of weird breakdance, hit the floor again, and both died. This left me and Francis to enter the truck but Bill entered instead, even though I saw him die clear as day.

WTF?

Were they standing under the truck?

Not from what I could see. Francis was beside me and Bill and Zoey were fighting a tank in the entranceway. The truck was already down. But the baffling thing was that when I got in the back I saw Bill instead of Francis and it was me and him that made it out alive. Totally weird.
