    Greetings from Iraq

Just sitting network watchin duty (Syscon Chief) til i go back to the helpdesk, and found out that we can get to this site. (a lot of sites are blocked during the daytime here)
SO i thot i'd say hi for all you who might wonder if i'm still alive. ;P

I'm hopin to be back by August/Sept. Prolly be on quite often too then as it looks like i'll be waiting on Zub to get back still from his deployment. Oh yeah and I'm gonna try to catch him to say hi on his way thru here as they usually helo to where he's goin. (He's just made it to Kuwait finally.)
Marines aint usually too 'supportive' when it comes to stuff that isn't *mission essential* so we'll see if the timing works out or what (or rather some of the marines in my command have Husband&WifeThatAreHappyTogether envy x.x man i'm sure there's a word for that but I dont know ;P) But i have some good guys with me this time around so i have hope.

I'm still jealous over my army cousin who got a room with her hubby. The Marine Corps mandates that it's 'Unit discretion' which of course, then translates to 'don't allow it' ... in pretty much every unit. (He was moved to my base after the first half of our last deployment, & males n females cant be in each others' sleeping area, no exceptions yadda yadda). I doubt I'll see him much this time tho, we're on diff bases neways, so it wont matter for us.

    Re: Greetings from Iraq

Thanks all, and I'll make sure to let Zub know to check the site... I don't remember if he ever got around to signing up here (we're both notoriously lazy about such things)... in case he'd want to post.

Fallujah/Taqaddum area (near Baghdad) is doing pretty well ... I haven't had any IDF/incoming since getting here and the base itself hasn't had anything since April last year, not long after i left for the first time... maybe they just dont know im back yet :P

Definitely lookin forward to seeing what's new on the server That and Vanguard has been going thru a lot of changes so i cant wait to see what they fixed on that game ;p it still needs quite a bit of polishing, but i still put it above WoW in my opinion.

I wish all our other deployers (Iraq or other) luck as well
