Possible Hack?

Don't have any screenshots to back anything up (nor even a name at this point as the field was too hectic to pay attention last night on Tampa)

But......I could've sworn that I saw an engineer using the active camouflage last night. I didn't think that was possible. Could this be a new glitch or might it just be observer error? I know that the pilum and the sniper rifles can sometimes look the same at a quick glance.

I'vs seen similiar things, and to this point I'm still not sure. If it is a hack, we'll probably see more of it. But it would seem that this is the type of thing that PB looks for; it would certainly fall under altered files.

The following is probably NOT related to what you saw, but it is why I hesitate to jump to any conclusions about things.

Recently I was up high in a nice sniper position as a support class. There was a Eng there with me who was killed by an Enemy Mechs Anti-Air from LONG range. I picked up his kit and fired off 3 Pilum shots then switched to my Support kit and tossed down a new ammo box, switched back and fired 3 shots, switched back and dropped another box, rinse repeat for the 5 min it took me to hit the walker (I could barly see when zoomed in) enough to make him run away.

As neither kit sat for 30 sec with out being picked up neither faded away. (I had a Vehical AND infintry sonars both up the whole time it was great)

Anyone watching or using a sonar/Commander screen could have easily assumed they were seeing 1 person use a pilum and an ammo box.

Again I doubt this sort of thing happened in your case but things we do not always understand may be possible.

it might be a kit shuffle like GOVt said.

Listen to what happened to me last night. I died with a recon kit. I got revived and had a medic kit instead of my own. thats very normal. what is weird is I had both a Voss and a Krylov!! The regular ammo was Voss, the Rockets were Krylov. I didnt get to fire either one since I was just standing and switching back and forth and thinking how cool this was until someone killed me.

Glitch that might have been the case if the person who I saw was stationary, but they were running and gunning on Tampa near Checkpoint South under the catwalks in the back. I was in the mech and saw/heard the active camo, got hit by pilum and died, and then saw the only person there in the base with me reactivate the active camo and take off. I remember just sitting there dead wondering WTF?

well that is possible - I think I was too suprised/pissed to check the death weapon. Like I said, just throwing this out as I thought it was weird. Could very possibly be observer error (PICK problem)
