BF2 Special Forces Server Shutdown
The BF2 SF server has been officially shutdown.
Recently running 4 instances on the same box has compromised the quality of play on all instances. Quite simply the box cannot handle all four at once. One instance had to be eliminated and sadly Special Forces was the victim.
This decision was not made lightly, but based upon the average number of connections and player averages SF was low man on the totem pole.

Re: BF2 Special Forces Server Shutdown
We had a good run while it lasted. Special thanks to all the folks that got the server up and running in the first place and to all that kept it primed and populated.
We have plenty to keep you gaming here at TTP so get in, get on and enjoy your favorite games and keep the TEAMPLAY going.

Re: BF2 Special Forces Server Shutdown
Damn shame! Great job by everyone whjo assisted with the server. A special thank you to the =PHX= crew who dedicated so much time and effort to priming this beast.
I will now be taking a 1 week hiatus from on-line gaming in memory of the Special Forces server starting tomorrow. See you next Saturday.
