Server population is good and it will always be a classic game. Also I really prefer BF2 over 2142. Don't know why but I always have more fun with BF2 than 2142.

Nah... wouldn't waste your time with BF2. Too many damn good players to shut you down the second you spawn.... It's definately too brutal for the kind at heart. I would stay away from it! Run away man, RUN AWAY! (oh, and this is sarcasim)

The TTP server is full everynite.

For the price you can't go wrong.

Just so you know the server if full every single night enough that I would recommend becoming a reservist if your not already.

Overall the players are slowly dropping, but because TTP is one of the top servers it will be a while before it's felt here I think.

You can not go wrong with any of the BF series games that TTP hosts, nor a Steam game. So yeah it is worth the $10 to get BF2 and the plus is you also can play PR! The best mod/game there is ever so yeah good deal all around.

I have never played 2142 but as JBM stated above TTP's Battlefield series is the best you'll find anywhere. If you like intense battles and extreme teamplay I can speak for BF2 that its awesome. Also you may want to try Project Reality Once you get the hang of the BF2 world. Its much harder and very realistic.
