Strange Battlefield 2 kills?

That has actually happened to me... I was like "huh?!?!"

The thing that always has irked me is the tk/team damage that occurs after a blown up shell of a tank or apc finally does the final explosion (to remove it from the map) and a team/squad mate is running by it and gets caught by the explosion... and what's worse is getting PUNISHED for it if it results in a death. :5

Dude.. I revived RV the other day and he was up and running around in his death pose... I was reaching to take a screen cap of it when he threw a grenade and it fixed the graphic.... that would have been a fun cap.

yup, this has happened to me, credit for kills when I am essentially doing nothing. Dunno the cause, I don't know if you get credit for the ghost kills, but it occurred to me, maybe I am that good... I just have to think someone to death... lol...

From what I have heard, on Clean Sweep when the US caps MEC airfield, one of their arty pieces turns to US side, thus giving you team damage if you blow it up. Can never remember which one it is, tho. One to the left (facing the water) I think, but I'm prolly wrong.

this subject got me to thinking about a series of strange kills I got a couple of weeks ago.

I can't remember the map I was on, but I was playing a sniper kit and positioned from a flag 400 or 500 meters away. This distance, a sniper has to get a head shot to make a kill. Anyways, I targetted an enemy and fired, down he went.

I figured he must have already been wounded and I just finished him off.

A medic ran towards him, I aimmed and fired, down he went. 2 for 2. I thought they must have both been wounded and I got lucky with the hits.

I reload. Next thing I know there's 6 guys running towards the two fallen guys. I take aim, fire, kill. I do this five more times and go 7 for 7 with sniper kills.

Now I don't know anything about aimbots, I wouldn't have the foggiest idea how to work them, I never use cheats, but it just seemed to me, IMPOSSIBLE to go 7 for 7 on kills at that distance.

Has anyone else had this happen on the server? It hasn't happened since, but the wierdness of shot/kill seven times in a row just got me thinking that it might have been a bug.

i am constantly getting killed by exploding vehicles even when im quite a distance from them...i think it is like being killed by a claymore that is not even close to your position or even facing your direction. my favorites is when im running along and being a medkit slinging medic and suddenly i have teamkilled or team damaged someone... or my gawd has this ever happened too anyone else---getting killed by the handgrenades throw instead of the explosion :5
